  1. Yer it’s dubious in its origins but language is a moveable feast so the word now exists even if it didn’t in the past. Having said that I came across it years ago on one of those super exciting dictionary websites (I’ll yawn on the behalf of all normal people here) who have weird words of the day. It was up with two other corkers- Ultracrepidarian and Philosophunculist - two things in abundance on the internet lol In all honesty I just assumed (clearly wrongly) that it was a word that was is use in Oz
  2. Thats nice to hear. Im not blowing smoke up your arse though, its a lovely site with great pics. Make sure you let us know on here when you add more. I very much agree with you about the colour green. Its a colour I need to live in! I always assumed we’re attracted to it for evolutionary reasons, where theres green its more likey they’ll be food but like you say it doesnt really matter why we like it, just that we do!
  3. Very nicely done. I thought Id pop over for quick squiz and was still looking 30 minutes later. As someone who cant fain interest I think you must of done a grand job! You have a superb eye for texture and its hard to stop looking! I like the way youve grouped the photos and your logo’s good too
  4. Another entertaining instalment. Not sure if you might be a little unhinged turning down a campsite to sleep on the floor under a burrito tarp BTW Im guessing given your vocabulary that Bikehedonia’ is play on strikhedonia? Very smart.
  5. Welcome Not another mute I hope. There’s already plenty of deaf n dumb on here.. me being one of them but we’ll skip right over that part.
  6. I think if you search @Six30 phone history you will find plenty of fleshy pictures that suit
  7. WOOOOOOAAAAH Like I want the dumbest shit Ive done on a bike (excluding the Himalayas with a twat n a half) on your front page for a month?!!! Plus @Sir Fallsalot has friggin nailed it. Mind you Mawsley has for the first time made me consider a scooter! And then theres the beautiful Himalayan. Oh god don’t get me stated again
  8. When did BOTM turn into such a bitchfest? Honestly ladies put the handbags away. But obviously @boboneleg is spot on you lazy arse nontopboxremovers I laugh as I type this, mainly cos Mr Slowly bought some fine whisky but also because I have never submitted any pics. I do so love/hate an armchair critic
  9. Honestly sweet stay off the book thread until you reach level 5
  10. I like the kids speed, resilience and I particularly like the little look at the bike like it betrayed him! Plus Id like a bobble hat like that.. any chance?
  11. I did not and would ask for more info but Im afraid of the the number of words and syllables you use may put you in the crosshairs of some… french literature.. woah danger zone
  12. Excellent work on both scores. No-one told me not to use the brake on a hard lock turn, I figured it out… eventually
  13. Im the other way round, if I buy the physical book after a chapter or two Ill buy the e version and ditch the hard copy! But I read all over the place, in the car if Im not driving, if Im waiting somewhere, at breakfast, lunch or dinner if theres no-one at the table and at hideous functions Im obliged to go to (then Ill disappear for 20 mins or so once or twice to read my book in peace). Im also more inclined to ditch a book Im not enjoying when its digital, a physical book makes me feel like I must plough on even if Im not enjoying it. I like that its back lit so you can fall asleep reading it without waking up at stupid o’clock because a lights still on. Then finally my bookshelves are rammed and theres not even room for a pamphlet! Hmm I sound like a right fanboy!
  14. I usually have two books on the go at the same time just cos I bought a Kobo e-reader to avoid giving amazon my money then discovered I need a book on my phone as well so amazon get my money anyway! Then again I suppose its less than half what they were getting before so thats something.
  15. I can’t help it if they decide West Country folk are the only right minded ones now can I?
  16. Well he sounds like an uninhibited party sort of fellow… the sort that has some exciting chemicals he procured from the vets especially for your unattended drinky

  18. Mine too! One just went to Bristol and the other starts there next September. I will paaaartay.. and cry a bit.. and party.. and cry a bit.. I’ll have one of whatever she’s on
  19. Thats not embarrassing thats a tale of woe the universe tried to correct with fried chicken. Universe report card- “Must try harder” On the upside I wouldnt have figured out in a million years what was wrong with the bike let alone fix it so theres that and the old man can get to feckery “Your manners are weak old man”
  20. Back out to the winter gardening then..
