  1. Err its in the last line of the post
  2. Funny that’s exactly what your wife said
  3. @boboneleg I was talking to your son earlier, he said can you stop sending this.
  4. I find it hard to believe if you posted on FB or the like you’re looking for your sons with as much info as you have (maybe even an old photo?) that not a single soul from your past with some knowledge wouldn’t get the message. But of course it’s your stuff to deal with however you like. Hope guilt or fear isn’t your master on this one. Good luck.
  5. So you’re not kidding about not reading Pete’s posts?
  6. If you’ve been looking for over a decade and turned up nothing then it’s probably time to face up to the idea that covertly isn’t working. Prepare a letter saying what you want to so it’s ready to send the second they’re located and go for it. Put your search out there on social media, contact everyone you know who has had contact with them and reach out to friends and family from the area. There’s no way they won’t have looked you up, even if it was a just a drunken google of where their dad is the curiosity will be there. The worse that can happen is your requests are denied so what have you got to lose? At least you can say you tried. Carry on with the ineffective methods you’re currently using and like you say time will run out. Sometimes being bold is the only way to go.
  7. Had the aircon on in the car, 27degrees in the car 28 out.. was nice n cool
  8. What’s the rain got to do with sleep? Unless your referring to temperature?
  9. You seem to have picked a golden week for it @Pedro!
  10. You could try a debt collection agency. Not cos they’d necessarily have been in debt but I believe (don’t quote me) they pay to have database access to bank account details that include the persons address.
  11. Is it possible your ex remarried and their surname changed?
  12. Possible but very unlikely. They all use independent systems with unique identifiers like barcodes for confidentiality. The trust I worked for used three different systems that were unconnected. Our local trust also has three completely different systems. Even when you had the person in front of you, name, address, DOB sometimes you still couldn’t find them on the system. It’s why the NHS can’t move away from paper, it’s a jumbled mess. Some of the GP services are linked but the NHS spent 6 million on a connected system that was abandoned and under investigation for wasting money!! If you knew the which GP practice group they belonged to you might be able to do it that way but basically the taxman is the only person with any reliable access.
  13. Hmm cryptic?! You need someone who works for the tax office. Or benefits depending on how life’s been for them!
  14. About to head back to the UK. Not looking forward to it, the solar installation isn't going smoothly, both of my sons are behaving like incompetent teenagers (even though ones 21 in a couple of weeks and the others 22), I have a pile of jobs waiting for me that are all demanding and now one of the guys is quite unwell and unlikely to be fit enough to work tomoz. For some unfathomable reason I now have Annie Lennox 'Thorn In My Side' stuck in my head Run away from you Was all that I could do Run run run run
  15. I never would have guessed
  16. And this is why even when camping you should pack a mirror to do your makeup, you're never gonna pull looking like that, well maybe but only the sort you have to fake phone number the next day
  17. Ah right yer that’d make a difference!
  18. Not necessarily, the BSA came with 2 years cover including recovery.
  19. I see your lot have been busy.. https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2023/09/10/prosecutor-in-spain-opens-probe-after-bull-violently-gores-three-smaller-steers-in-the-full-view-of-a-crowd-of-children/#utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss
