Just offer a wage that decent people can get by on, then you can choose from a number of applicants and not to employ the chaff. Otherwise as now youre left with just dedicated people that see it as a vocation and the shite that can’t get employed elsewhere (admin usually).

Just got second jab invite and it coincides with when I’ll be passing where I live on Sunday My 19year old has just got an invite for his first jab too. Theyre knocking this shit right out the park, I fucking love the NHS.

Being a peaceable person with a different point of view can be a dodgy place to be but changing yourself to please the lowest common denominator is no wise move. Not everyone’s born to lick windows. Speaking of which my window cleaners not been since covid kicked off so if youre down this way...

Last year the honest raw horror of hearing my husband had handed the chainsaw to my 18yr old son when they where 6 metres in the air hanging out of a cherry picker to lop some branches still makes my stomach churn Then this year my niece was also handed a chainsaw to chop up some logs. No idea. He works for the NHS where everything is serious all the damn time, it has to be. Its not until you leave the proverbial weights lifted and you realise you’ve had to take life very seriously for a very long time. But he definitely has a lighter more jovial side.
