I dunno, I look at Pedro’s vids and think “Hell yeh” (apart from the other cars getting in the way which would annoy me) but on the other hand when I say I have I had a problem with speed it’s not a little joke so this for me is like encouraging an alcoholic to have a drink! Not wise at all.

Well I prefer louder voices, it’s a bonus! People who are too quietly spoken always come across as lacking any conviction in the things they are saying and if it turns into a mumble I can’t be bothered at all ?
-
I hope that’s some sort of in joke!

Try taking ‘LADIES’ out of the title and changing it to Nurburgring, jus the word ‘Ladies’ is too much for some ?
-
Agreed.

Portugal frequently tops the best biking roads lists so it’s gonna be downhill from there ? But for me the only way is up. There’s a song in there somewhere ?
-
Lol me too ?

I don’t think I’ve ever stumbled across a hedgehog that needs rescuing. Almost every other type of wildlife but never a hedgehog. Must be a front for money laundering.... in Cheddar.... ?

Bring forth your finest ?

24.5bhp would be a pretty fast way to piss everyone else off I reckon ? Might take my r ninet but likely the Bandit 1250 for comfort over the distance. Bought it as a winter hack but it’s turned out to be a lot more fun than I anticipated.

Could be worse, could have been over a year since you set foot in any of Spain ? Joking aside I get it, it sucks. Like a lot of other people I was patient for the first year but now its run out, I NEED to travel!

Step away from the thread @Pedro theres nothing to see here ?

If its bumpier than where I live I’ll eat my hat ?

Nice work ? What are you spending the change on??

The stars are in alignment (whatever that means) and Nürburgring is ? calling youooeeoo ooeeeoooo ? Well thats a nice ol’ friend to have. The plot thickens, we await the next instalment! ?

Anyone got any pics of aforementioned ring?

Love this. I want a chunk!

https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a27424/dissected-duck-and-cover/ Its a fairly large mechanism underneath to make that happen (see pic in above link) but impressive all the same. I always wonder if the people who work in the showroom can ever afford the cars they sell and what that must feel like to spend your days flogging stuff youre unlikely to ever afford.

I thought they only let in pensioners? ? Welcome Rikki

I’m not doing the organising of this trip someone else (whose a competent person) is doing it so I dont know where we’re going. Nürburgring, black forest, Mosel, Luxembourg and Belgium have all been mentioned though ? He chooses Eiffel because its quiet. Everyone who has been before mentions the tarmac is like silk. That they take road maintenance seriously and will resurface a whole road rather than let it fall into disrepair and patch it up like they do here. Im really looking forward to the Autobahn ? I heard theyre starting to push for a speed limit to reduce CO2 emissions but its very unpopular. Aah cone free roads, I thought they only existed in my dreams!

My favourite West Country farmer saying- Its as glittery as shittery. Cow shit shines when its wet so even a turd can shine, doesnt mean its something good. Suppose its a bit like “all that glitters is not gold”

A single pea in an empty bucket. Someone who makes a lot of noise but theres nothing much going on upstairs. Like Davina McCall or Zoe Ball or most DJ’s, loud and empty headed.

Yep thats my understanding of it. One I never understood- You need to eat up your crusts they make your hair curly?!

Very nicely written Sofia. Your enthusiasm is infectious. I am looking forward to going immensely. Not least of all because this lockdown business and the lack of freedom has been so incredibly boring. I understand the roads in Germany are gloriously smooth and well cared for, its supposed a great place for biking? Ill be staying in Eiffel and going to different places each day ? I understand mostly the speed limits are similar to the UK?

I had 5 and have lost 3 recently. Its so painful I dont think Ill have another dog. The last one got so thin before she went she was having raw feed with a slice of chopped streaky bacon, a dollop of smooth pate, a heaped tablespoon of weight gain powder and 3 drops of cannnabis oil. I haven’t been able to eat bacon since!! ? The CBD oil did a remarkable job. Its worth considering if your old dog is arthritic. Works exceptionally well for arthritis. She started running again a week after she started that stuff. My other half has back and neck pain from decades of front row rugby and found it impossible to sleep through the night even with amitriptyline, now he doesnt even need it. Anyway heres a link to the dog rescue that sells the good stuff, I’m sure they’ll be a Canadian equivalent. https://www.simply-cbd.co.uk- 852 replies
