  1. Apparently they still do a nice cup of tea and scone.
  2. @boboneleg I did not know the oldest Methodist meeting place is smack bang in the centre of Bristol???! How does a place that big disappear in the centre of the shops? World in Bristol for over 20 years so I find that unbelievable. A 'library' of 9000 books of the methodist religion and a room of worship replete with benches dating from the 1700's tucked behind Boots chemist?!! Crazy!
  3. Had a video meeting about the cost of replacing the kitchen in the flat I want for my sons. Went well apart from A, the cost. B, not expecting to be facetimed while sitting on the sofa drinking tea. Always professional
  4. Where's Mr LackOfDataRoamingSirFallsALot? and Mr Hererandomly (soz thats me too) @Tango? It's not good enough!
  5. Give him a break, an inability to do things correctly mechanically is going to discombobulate a maladroit.
  6. He's pretending he's not a property mogul and thats not his pool net. Oh yeh.
  7. Spend five mins here n you'll quickly deduce you're all anally fixated. You'd think bikes were the common ground but no, it's men's arses. So does this make me... a .. fag ..hag..
  8. No it's not. That doesn't sound like your typical waterproof bin bag?!
  9. I have a very nice set of Alan keys. With one missing. Just one. Drives me nuts. JUST PUT IT BACK WHERE YOU GO IT FROM, ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT. I have a second secret tool kit they don't know about
  10. Mr Slowly occasionally uses a Richa waterproof jacket and it is a good jacket. Well made and does the job. Only problem with it is it's lined so it's thick. This makes it warm (too warm for Spain) and it's bulky ie doesn't pack down small.
  11. Not a lot, I've no interest in small measurements.
  12. Thats a shame they're as good as it gets. They ship almost everywhere but like you say, customs pah.
  13. and when Mrs Xtreme comes in to take over she needs to burst onto the scene in a red cape
  14. Me too. Would like a time lapse vid with Laurel and Hardy music
  15. Knox. Expensive but a brand that can actually hold up to torrential rain. My left foot did get wet once. Because I hadn't done them up
  16. A holiday from your life.. on holiday?
  17. For a classy dude like you I'd say that's a bit footballers wives. With your colouring I'd recommend a neutral palette, a tinted lipgloss for the evening and easy on the blusher. If the lashes need help then a thickening mascara or at a push eyelash extensions for the outer eyelid, but that's algorithms, they don't always completely hit the mark. Good luck
  18. And when he does it’ll start cos that’s how Sod’s Law works
  19. The water was so obviously flavoured I bought a Brita filter on my first shop after arriving here in Sept 2021 But even with that it still produces sub standard tea. I tested the total dissolved solids (TDS) and they're 376-380 before filtering. Filtering with a Brita filter only reduces that number by around 100 which isn't great. I'm getting a 'Zero' filter and if that doesn't do the trick much to my chagrin I'm going to have to switch to bottled. I love Spain can't be doing with it messing with my cup of tea!
  20. Do you keep bottled water for back up on these occasions? I've just been reading about the water quality in Valladolid. Apparently it's not potable. High levels of nitrates. And as farming isn't going to stop and nitrates don't just disappear it's unlikely to be rectified. They'll probably decide to increase the 'safe' limit, that's a nice cheap fix Wonder what the levels are around here?!
  21. If dinosaurs and chimpanzees bred, you could try and civilise them but generally it would be a
  22. More likely the usual requests for pics from the usual suspects.
  23. How does one just find something like that? Your algorithms must be well messed up
