  3. Ok now I've seen this, I can tell he's GUILTY
  4. Why what pill popping paranoia is he spouting now? I can't see, I have him on ignore
  5. If thats the case (and it is one of those stories that seems like theres more to it) then when/if that comes out vilify him then but lying about an affair while married is not bigs news to anyone except those involved. I read the lover was shuffled off to loose women because he started saying he was in love with him but there's so much crap floating about who knows. History is littered with children in showbiz who end up in affairs with their managers/handlers when they're old enough, never seems even comment worthy when they're female. Don't get me wrong ITV dropping him like a hot rock with no farewell smacks of distancing yourself at the highest possible speed and running in the opposite direction because you know there's more to it so I'm not saying there's not more to it but so far the only difference between him and many before him is he's gay and his brothers a paedo. The actual headline "I had an affair and lied about it" is boring as hellllll.
  6. I've not seen the Clarkson article. Hard to imagine him writing something thats not done purely for effect.
  7. Not only do they not resign they feckin dine out on it. I suppose to one of those slimy pole climbing pencil necks actually getting laid is a bit of a bragging point
  8. Am I the only one that thinks this Phil Schofield stuff is really BORING. I mean IF it's all above board, the man had an affair and lied about it. Politicians don't even resign for that now.
  9. Yer on a separate occasion. Not the one time you're planning on shits n gigs without rugrats attached. Tis good for them to see their parents getting off the sofa and doing stuff.. FREEDOM
  10. Hell, it's nowhere near as boring as yet another conversation on your fav topic of sodomy or paedos, now thats

  12. I think hydrogen from solar power looks the most promising. But I heard a professor who advised the government on the radio saying talking to the government was like trying to get information through a very thick brick wall. Meanwhile the Netherland storms ahead and we'll probably end up importers rather than exporters.. again. Heyho.
  13. It's important to go away without your family. Everyone needs a break from normal life every now and then. When you have young kids you need it just to gets some damn sleep. I couldn't count the number of times Mr Slowly and I have been away separately without family, spouse included. Once or twice a year each when they were small, although then it was mostly short breaks. Now whenever something occurs that one wants to do that the others not interested in, no worries off you trot. Mr Slowly's thinking about going to the Rugby World Cup, I don't fancy that so he'll go with someone else. It's far too restrictive to live your life only doing what mutually interests both parties. Especially awful if one partners particularly dominant and its their interests that dictate what you do. Right now I'm in Spain and everyone else is in the UK, nowt wrong with it. If you do things separately you enjoy your time together more. Lots of little stories and bits to catch up on. Absence makes the heart grow fonder n all that.
  14. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to buy Picardie glasses while in Spain, amazon.es will offer you this instead https://www.amazon.es/s?k=picardia&__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=1295UJIF7AFWV&sprefix=picardi%2Caps%2C104&ref=nb_sb_noss_2
  15. It's well and truly back in fashion, not sure the face is gonna look like it's been cryogenically frozen
  16. This is one of the best articles I've read on electric vehicles so far. Enjoy! https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/jun/03/electric-vehicles-early-adopter-petrol-car-ev-environment-rowan-atkinson
  17. Funnily enough the first line of the instructions say- "DO NOT press or push the meat tenderiser into your hands or body parts!"
  18. Weather been lovely n sunny here, a bit too hot out in the sun. I've waited for the anticipated thunderstorm and as usual it's not appeared. Weather looks nice over the weekend, one thing I know about the forecast for here is it's always much hotter than they say it's going to be! Today's 22 turned into 26 degrees. But the weather away from here looks a bit crap so I have a girly weekend and home planned of experimental kitchen and sewing. Got some new gear, for tenderising meat, growing beansprouts and a danish whisk for mixing dough The tenderiser is gloriously sharp and savage to use, great fun. Tomorrow I'll roast whatever cut it is I bought thats marinading in the fridge and we shall see if 48 razor sharp spines make any difference! God knows what it is, I couldn't find a translation and 'Filete Vacuno' can't be Beef Fillet at €11.49 a kilo!!
  19. I know this conversation over so I'll keep it brief Clive
