  1. I think they do rotation tours with otheer virtually reality displays to other countries so the next stop for the Dali exhibition is Barcelona which is why I was gutted I was going to miss the London one. Heyho. It's a hell of a lot of work that went on into it so hopefully it'll be back.
  2. A superior flying machine like the Himalayan would glide over that like it wasn't even there.. maybe.. so long as the battery wasn't flat and the rider wasn't daydreaming.
  3. Can do without the grief, besides why break a habit
  4. That’s why I asked. The idea of the beach is nice, the reality is sandy
  5. Depends which side of the mountain you foolishly/wisely (delete as appropriate) landed on, looking good here Only downside is it’s staying this temp overnight too, gets down to 19 degrees at best but that’s ok, it just depends if you foolishly/wisely (delete as appropriate) have aircon
  6. Kiss your wife with that mouth do you?
  7. Airport parking managed to put the bike on charge I paid for another years parking and airport ferrying, they were super fecking jolly and friendly today, even psycho "pay ten euros for a charge" seemed happy to see me (bit unnerving that). The ride back to Salobrena was uneventful and refreshing apart from it pissing down as soon as I set off and me refusing to unlash the suitcase to get waterproofs out then remembering right up in the mountains wet bike gear is not your friend oh and had a long daydream then realised I had no bloody clue where I was, added 25 mins to my journey Only one minor irritation, airport security binned my corkscrew/bottle opener! The little blade was deemed ok (under 6cm) but apparently a 5cm curly corkscrew is dangerous even the staff think it's daft. But this is nice - Bristol Airport now offer to hold onto precious items for one week so you can pick them up on return.
  8. Brace yourself @Marcel and @Buckster you Harley 'Buds' have a deluge cumming your way
  9. I'm well jelly. By the time I get back sadly it's finished. Heyho.
  10. Genuinely wondered why I was staring at someone’s exposed bum for so long
  11. No way, not the 3D Dali thingy I was longing after the other day? Boiler House, Brick Lane? Feckin knew it. Nearly posted on here Oi Yen you seen it? Worth a looksee?
  12. I don’t think on a mobike at whatever pace suits the mood, in whatever direction takes your whim even compares. The piping hot Cullen Skink at the Green Welly Stop wouldn’t have tasted half as good without the incessant rain, cold feet and time to enjoy the warmth
  13. Ooh well no need to understate the power of Wales and Scotland. The lands end to John o’Groats recce I did was, and still is one of my favourite ever trips. Like another world of beauty. Look forward to hearing about it.. or your ride to Devon
  14. Bought a small Givi tank bank as my sw motech one went missing. It’s ok but then the motech one turned up, I’d forgotten how much better it is compared to the Givi. A trip or two where? Do tell.
  15. Yep I can. I’m trying to do three weeks worth of work in one week so I can leave the UKs sunny pleasant weather to catch a plane on a bank holiday weekend that’s predicted to be the busiest since 2019 in order to get to Spain where there’s thunder, lightning, torrential rain and lower temps. That’ll be a fun ride through the mountains Or will it? It could be another ‘we haven’t bothered to charge the battery’ debacle at airport parking and another walk to an expensive hotel to sleep in the clothes I travelled in before a nice rainy ride the next day. Whoop whoop let’s see what unfolds
  16. In the last chance saloon for getting all my jobs done today so I’m giving all my mobile tech to my son to hold onto until I’ve finished, yep I don’t want to do the jobs so much that’s what I’m resorting to Laters.
  17. His pained expression looks like he’s trying to get some relief from his hideously shrunken clothes.
  18. Yep “and now is the time for drinking” He was originally a rejected illustration for a brewery that was then used by the Michelin brothers. Theres a great poster of somewhere of him driving a convertible and drinking out of a champagne coupe There was one poster suggesting a drink if you felt tired would liven you back up for driving
