  1. Maybe have a look around at things other people do that you think “thats cool” and if theres a class enrol to see if it suits (that way theres no expensive outlay on tools etc you may never really use), sometimes you even meet interesting people into the bargain. If theres no class books and youtube can show you pretty much everything anyway. You’re not daft so if someone else can make something groovy there’s no reason you can’t too.
  2. Do you have many hobbies (apart from biking) that interest you? Hobbies are well known mood smoothers. There’s great satisfaction to be found in producing things (other than food) and if you have a few you can work on whatever suits your mood at any given moment. Enjoy your ride on Monday.
  3. Alright alright no need to rub it in. What can I say I’m just a trusting fool. I’m already not looking forward to next years April fool now everyone knows my weak spot
  4. Noo I don’t want fucktard corner, I’ll have to spent at least the rest of the weekend in it after Fred’s April Fools
  5. Well I didn’t fall for the one about the scientist who’s discovered how to make people invisible this morning so there’s still hope for me.. maybe
  6. Brilliant. A work visa will do the trick nicely
  7. If you haven’t already found this, this website will give you an idea. https://www.idealista.com/en/
  8. Great news, from what you were saying it didn’t sound promising.
  9. If I could make one tiny suggestion. If you jump don’t sell your place in Wales immediately. Rent it out and use the income to rent somewhere over here for a year or two to make sure it’s really for you, cos if it’s not (and the majority get homesick and want to go back) you will find it hard to get back into the housing market in the UK without making quite a loss.
  10. Got 12 more of the feckers in the freezer. Grim Brit/Spain sozzies anyone?!
  11. A lot of Spain is in the middle of nowhere House prices are very good out in the sticks too.
  12. They do other mid-low range sausages like Clonakilty and Richmonds as well, I just can’t have them cos they contain gluten. My mouth still feels like it’s coated in lard and that’s half an hour and two cups of tea later!
  13. Wow. Thats big news I’m surprised as well cos you’ve always been happy where you are, what changed? And how you gonna get around the 90 day rule or do you have other lineage on your side (like Irish etc)?
  14. The Spanish/Brit sausages were not good, won’t be buying them again, ever. Looked up ‘Dixon’s Farm’ it doesn’t exist in any form, it’s simply a marketing tool for a meat factory based in Malaga and my god it showed in the end product. I call utter BS on them being 96% pork, even if over 20% is pork fat it was the most un porky pork I’ve ever encountered, pappy as hell. I’ll have to go back to making my own, heyho.
  15. Goddam I only voted for Pete cos he managed to take a pic without a topbox I fully intended to switch to six’s a the last hurdle but was busy. Shite. Viva Suzuki!
  16. When I was working as a nurse full time I wasn’t covered for maternity leave (yay the nhs complaining they can’t recruit and retain but also making it impossible to leave n return ) so much later I was instructed to fill in the state maternity leave forms. I didn’t for the first few weeks because having a baby is somewhat exhausting. When I eventually did I was shocked by the 16 page document I had to fill in, it was full of the same questions asked in different ways that were designed to make you contradict yourself. Eventually I did get the pathetic statuary maternity pay awarded.. suddenly in one lump sum over a year later.
  17. As previously said it’s MENTAL out there.
  18. At last “Dwarfism is generally defined as an adult height of 4 feet 10 inches (147 centimeters) or less” a win
