I’d be more concerned about having hunting out guys with inguinal hernias as a pastime.
-
Pics or it doesn’t exist.

Tis always the back that gets it on steps. Hope it recovers soon. I’m in the middle of journeying through the ‘Petes got a cold’ saga and have reached the heady point of coughing if I lie down but not if I sit upright. I’m hoping to exit this trajectory before reaching the backache, sore ribs and a hernia low

Embarrassing then.

This cold sucks. Cough cough cough cough cough. -
I certainly did.

Damn. I yacht varnished all of mine whilst in situ because they are really heavy and it was a total pain in the arse.
-
Can you take them off the hinges and paint them flat?
-
And we have a winner

I’m with you on that. I don’t think I ever want to paint anything ever again. And I downed tools halfway through doing one job which is a bit problematic

Sounds like a lot of fun…

Battery jump starters

Bump start was an option (assuming I could get the mean bitch to push me) but at a couple of points at the highest altitude when the mix isn’t right it feels weedy and is easy to stall. As it was going to be dark within moments of leaving the idea of getting stuck at high altitude on the side of a mountain in the cold and dark on my tod waiting for feck knows how long for the RAC to sort out recovery (last time it took them 6 hrs!!) made me err on the side of caution. If it had been earlier in the day I would probably have risked it. -
Hopefully it will feel lovely and smooth and clean when they’re done. Looks like they’re doing a good job?

No heating and damp plaster in March? Are they trying to finish you off?
-
What is it they’re doing again?

If it’s only dark chocolate that does it thats dandy. You’re literally colouring your innards with cocoa Beetroot is the best one for frightening people

Black shit’s not good, so while not wanting to go all Gillian Mckeith (remember that charlatan?) is it just dark chocolate that does that? Are there other foods? Does it happen randomly? Does the dark chocolate eating occur with other behaviours (like you don’t care cos you’ve had 5 pints of Guinness)?

I didn’t want to go all the way to Exeter and then have to go back there for the service cos it’s always pissing down when you have a serviced booked I have to say the salesman Adam was superb, excellent in fact. But the workshops reputation precedes everything else they do. I just thought they probably don’t pay well enough for people to give a shit but the attitude usually comes from the manager who generally sets the tone.

Chocolate bungs you up? Thats a new one. Sugars normally ferment, cause a build up of gas and stimulate stretch receptors so people go a bit quicker than usual. Yes yes I said stretch receptors. Have at it

Pete cover your eyes, theres a wet bike image ahead. Now with expensive but lovely looking heated grips and optimate SAE. The control button is integrated into the grip so no bastid ugly box on the bars. Good ay.

I don’t know if I’m pleased or disappointed Mines chocolate. I LOVE dark chocolate.

Tbh I’d already been considering taking it to the good boys of Clevedon to check over any work they do while it’s under warrantee because I don’t trust their workshop.
