No idea, they look good though. -
Got pre party food prep to do today on top of the usual work and picking up an oven and viewing a flat in Brizzle. Got a bastid headache too, that’s Henry Westons fault, annoying git making drinks that don’t taste alcoholic, then you suddenly notice (when it’s too late) its 8%

Church Of MO: 2009 Victory Vegas 8-Ball Review

I always really liked the 8 ball. Great lines. Shame they stopped production. The dealer told me it was because they couldn’t meet EU emission standards without doing a redesign and as they didn’t sell enough of them to make their money back on the amount of investment that would take Polaris decided to drop Victory and focus on Indian. -
For me n Mr Slowly the aurora can go fuck itself For my 40 birthday I was still (only partially) surrounded by materialistic wankers -what have you got her, how much is it (she) worth? I say sod material possessions thats aspirational crap I want to have experiences not things. So I plumped for the aurora.. some time later it didn't show it's face and delightfully some random twat spent their time coughing with their face uncovered in our direction... uhuh grim

Aaw come on. The mans repeatedly posted pics that work against him in an oblivious fashion, in-spite of good backdrops, for at least over a year now. Set him free.. of top box, badly proportioned, terribly angled photos please.

No wonder you never win, adjust your expectations The bike is the dominant feature and it’s a bike forum not a landscape photography one. It’s displayed at a beautiful angle (I’d ride that.. even tho its a honda ) . The background leads your eye visually to the front tyre which looms large in the pic and ready to go. Theres no dumb practical shite attached to it (dumb practical shit is a necessity as I’ve repeatedly photographed) but the naked bike with the raw background looks GOOD! Desolate surrounding and a mans machine is a winner.

Landscapes, Cityscapes, Waterscapes with or without bikes

Just a bit of extra space with no thought is a boon. Refining your packing to essentials is a bore and chucking everything in without a care is liberating, thats just a guess cos honestly having that attached to the back of my bike would piss me off big styley.

Oh and the White horse tat in the background, very cool.

I’m torn cos Busabeat has the Hayabusa (although not the improved cropped version) and yet Pete’s accidentally entered a good bike pic. What time does the voting finish?

Scrambler XE panniers advice
Slowlycatchymonkey replied to Scrambler steve's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
I have a small unobtrusive extender on the 9T which works okish but I still end up with an air hockey puck in my jacket to throw down, requires precise stopping on return or flailing one leg around like you’re doing the hokey cokey. The one bag thing does and doesn’t work for me. If it’s a roll top wet bag strapped across the panniers I find it useful for capacity but a total pita to undo to get things out. Plus I’d don’t enjoy lugging a large heavy bag over any distance. I think it depends on what you’re doing. Riding to a destination not much distance away where the bike will be close then one large bag works for me. Multiple stops moving on everyday, doing distance and variable weather forecast I want easy access to waterproofs, my sarnies and flask. So I have two set up’s. The one you showed me and this one that looks awful but I can get into the panniers on the fly and remove the important stuff in the tail pack and/or tank bag in one click. The top of the pannier bags are small enough to be Ryan Air under seat (ie free) compliant so a win for me. -

At a glance I thought the metal plate was a side-stand monstrosity -
Pete’s had his Valium now, anything goes.

Look at the pic on your phone, tap the edit icon and you'll see all sorts of easy to use options.

Crop put the car on the left, a bit of the tarmac out the front and leave it in a more usual rectangular shape and you've got a good pic there.

Scrambler XE panniers advice
Slowlycatchymonkey replied to Scrambler steve's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
I have Givi panniers and they're good but them being made in Italy doesn't inspire any extra confidence. The accessories they sell to go on or in their panniers are what makes them my top pick. -
What you made, making, bodged?
Slowlycatchymonkey replied to Slowlycatchymonkey's topic in GENERAL CHAT
Not really a bodge job is it, that's a good looking solution nicely done A mirror attached with a bit of duct tape wobbling around now that wold be a proper bodge -
It's just a bit of fun Pete. If it's overdone everyone can see that and vote accordingly.

I have a vague memory @Motobiker has some German aluminium panniers, they may well have been Motea.
