  2. Anyone who tells you that mobile phone cameras are as good as a DSLR/Mirrorless tell them to fuck off Took a walk along Cwm Ddu Glen did the best I could with my Google pixel, even shot in RAW and edited in Capture One, still no comparison, although it's still true that the best camera is the one you have with you
  3. The Deffynog Yew a 4000 year old tree at the top of the Tawe Valley Rumour has it that it may even be old enough to have witnessed the last time that Yen had a wash Just imagine though the historic events this tree has lived through, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, Genghis Khan, and the millions of times Pete has changed his oil
  4. Whiteford Lighthouse Wiki: It is an unusual cast-iron lighthouse built in 1865 to a design by John Bowen (1825–1873) of Llanelli, by the Llanelli Harbour and Burry Navigation Commissioners to mark the shoals of Whiteford Point, replacing an earlier piled structure of 1854, of which nothing remains. It is the only wave-swept cast-iron tower of this size in Britain. The tower is 44 feet (13 m) high and stands just above low-water level. The base is about 24 feet (7.3 m) in diameter and rises gracefully to a diameter of 11 feet 6 inches (3.51 m) at lantern level. A pitched stone apron surrounds the base of the lighthouse

  6. The happiest Hedgehog ever I raised the food up for the Fox to keep the mealworms away from the Hedgehog as a constant diet of them is harmful to them, they will eat them exclusively if they can but mealworm contain phosphorus and no calcium, phosphorus causes the body to take calcium from the bones and this results in painful brittle bones and eventually death if they only eat mealworms Needless to say I fixed the problem when I realised the thing could climb better than I had thought, ironically this poor fella got eaten by one of the visiting Badgers
