I have a jacket which rarely gets used, and the heated grips do their job most of the time. Weren’t needed yesterday.

Quite warm except for near the sea.

I think that the recent cold snap has knocked the greenery back a bit.

I had intended to have a ride somewhere on Thursday but a friend thought he’d go on Saturday so a change of plan. Transpired that he didn’t want to go too far and do some nearby lanes, that I didn’t really fancy. Eventually got out late morning after making sure that I had deballasted sufficiently as most of the public khazis would be closed due to the lurgy. A very important issue these days. The only plan I had was west so thought I’d avoid the hordes on the Beacons and get there quickly, as it was a late start, along the M4 then turn off somewhere. I just saw a place name and headed towards it until somewhere else caught my eye. As seems to be the norm for me lately, didn’t stop other than for a few snaps when I was in the quieter hills. Fortunately the roads were fairly quiet earlier on because I suppose many were in front of the box watching some funeral. I usually hear my first cuckoo of the year at this spot, but nothing Just over 250 miles so happy that I can still do some miles. I think that the reluctance to take photos has something to do with the effort it seems to take me to get off and on the bike!

I felt as if I had mild flu for a week.

I once threw up after having that one night in Liverpool. Delicious, but too rich on top of a belly full of beer, wine and port. ?

Yes. The seal was in South Georgia, the Heron and dolphins in the Falklands.

I was under the impression that the EU had decided to get their vaccines en masse as it were, and that the bureaucracy has held up the ordering. Didn't the president admit as much? https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/25/world/europe/europe-covid-19-vaccine-shortage.html https://www.politico.eu/article/europe-coronavirus-vaccine-struggle-pfizer-biontech-astrazeneca/ That's it. Sorry Pete, no more politix. ???????

It seems like the EU bureaucrats have slowed the vaccine procurement so much that there's now a third wave, and they blame the UK for it. Rich!

This was above Nant y Moch last summer when the comet Neowise came visiting.

I went there for an epic retirement do a few years ago. We camped in a very muddy field and walked into town along the canal past all the locks -impressive. We had to hide in a pub as we were early and didn’t want to spoil the surprise and to cut a long story short got pissed and arrived at the party late! The retiree was well impressed, and I think a little jealous.

I’ve only been out three times, and didn’t take any photos.

I Just had a look, nothing I’m afraid.

I'd forgotten that the bike clock was still on BST from last year, so arrived home an hour earlier than needed.

You do have a point there. However she has terrible taste.

Great area that you live in @MooN. Makes my little jaunt pale into insignificance.

The two that immediately spring to mind are the bosses of Wetherspoons and Ryan Air. Always bleating and trying to tell us that the scientists know nothing.
