They ripped down the old ceilings in the kitchen & bathroom, and put up new (the guy said) mould resistant plasterboards, and plastered it today.......needs skimming when it's dried..

Like living on a building site....we get a day off from the workmen tomorrow... they back on Thursday, have to empty the kitchen again, and (God knows why ) they have turned our gas off, good thing it's a bit milder.

Yep best wishes @Tango for tomorrow.

Outside of the border of Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire would be a nice start for me.

That's the story of my travels, I have not done more than 300 miles on the scoot since I bought it.
-
I doubt I do anywhere near 6,000 miles per year, the tester said they were starting to crack and perish around the wheel rim, must be in the inside as the outside looks fine.
-
My tyres perish before I wear them out, so the MOT tester seems to think, at every every MOT i get advisories for at least 1 perished tyre ..

My daughter is 39 this year, and my son will be 43, but his brain is still 14.

I know the other reasons, but as I say it would sound like me moaning

When my wife stopped riding pillion I went out on the scoot/bike less and less, I hardly ride nowdays, i could go into greater detail but it would just sound like me moaning. If I sat down and really thought about it I would come to the conclusion that the scoot is really not needed. So in effect I have lost my mojo.

Our neighbours dog at the moment. ......glad I can't hear it, it gets on my wife's nerves.

I don't know over what period her finance is for the Pushite, just hope it's still running and being ridden when the last payment is paid........then it will go on Marketplace no doubt.

...Granddaughter has ordered a new Peugeot Tweet 125cc....she was supposed to collect it next week, but with her CBT being cancelled (she should have done it last Thursday) till the middle of April things are on hold till then. It's going to live a bit of a rough life, it will be stood on her rear yard under a bike cover. I will offer to give it a coating of ACF, but I don't expect she will spend much time cleaning it, if her pushbike is anything to go by it will just get a wash when it rains.

......... yes, I expect they are built to a higher standard, a higher spec car built for enthusiasts, standard cars built for the masses.

I have only driven a Magane & Clio, basic cars I suppose, built to a price. The Magane was OK ish, but the off set pedals of the Clio made my back ache. I use to occasionally chauffeur my boss around in his Mercedes S500......which made the Dacia feel like a skateboard, and about as fast.

Mine does have a key along with a fob, but the key only opens a cubby hole to gain access to the emergency seat opening cable.....if the battery goes totally flat I cannot unlock the electric steering lock..
