£840 for me next week. Car has failed the MOT Bus pass is going to get some use for the 1st time

We have a Pikey encampment on the (disused) pitch and putt, whenever they turn up this happens.

Took car in for its MOT failure Now I have to repair the gates, someone tried to get through them last night, they were not well equipped or they would have got in.

This 20c and drizzle is shit, but rather have this than what your suffering with.....

Iam staying in as it's only 16c and pissing it down. Weekend forecast, the same weather.

I expect I will have to get it welded, should not be too big a job.

Looked at the car for MOT on Monday ..........discs look a bit doubtful for a pass, but I can replace them myself.........but got a hole in 1 sill, only the size of a 1p peice, so i expect a fail on that too, as to the underside of the car I cannot get underneath to see the condition of the parts. If its going to cost ££££££,s I will have to raid our funeral fund.

Was a nice drive all the way to Ipswich, from there to Harwich it pissed it down. Still is..

We have a very busy thunderstorm right over us now, hammering it down with rain. Maybe going in the car tomorrow is a good idea. German pal wants to drive to Walton on the Naze, after driving to Harwich (190 miles) I could do without it.

Dry and bright here, we did have heavy shower earlier. Checking fluids and tyre pressures on car and scoot. Think it will be a toss of a coin tomorrow morning as to which one.

When my wife was in a wheelchair, assistance at the airport, both East Midlands (not so good) and Palma were brilliant......did it a couple of times. Only downside was security at East Midlands wanted to almost disassemble the wheelchair, Palma totally different, I think it was a case of, we have got your holiday money now bugger off to England.
