The scoot needed a run, and I can put up with the cold, it is not like I was far from home and warmth.
But (unlike you) I do not have a eye for photography, mine always look rubbish.
Weeding the borders .....taking a age because so many flowers starting to show.....doing my back no favours....but at least it is sunny and warm out of the breeze.
My mother in law had 2 words she struggled with....."can you collect me something from Argosy" (Argos)
And specific....she always said "be more Pacific"
My daughters nickname is Rocket Gob.
She ordered a Piaggio 50cc scooter just before her 16th birthday.....I called in at the shop in Nottingham to see how it was progressing with the registration and pre delivery inspection...was told it was ready to be collected.
Daughter was on nights that week so she said leave it till the weekend.....,that night the shop burnt down to the ground...took 2 and a half months before they got her a replacement scoot.
My wife still has her elbow crutches for her bad walking days.....the hospital gave her those....told her to dispose of them when she no longer needed them.
My wife's wheelchair was on loan from the Red Cross.....but the airport baggage handlers damaged it, I repaired (bodged ) it, but Red Cross said dispose of it when I told them it was damaged.
And with prices rising so quickly we having to economise even further, out pension is really stretched to the limit....and we have got to have a serious think about car and scoot, as the insurance is up on them both at nearly the same date.
