I worry more on the scoot.....I can just hear the engine, but with my lack of and distorted hearing it sounds nothing like a engine....it is hard to describe the sound I hear.......so if it was getting ready to go bang I would not know. I do know a guy who was passed for a cochlear implant and had one fitted, he was very disappointed with the results, he said everyone sounds like Minions.

Next step it to get her to do the repairs if it does.

Now that I can hear next to nothing I rely on my wife to tell me if there are any strange noises emanating from the car (obviously she can't do the same with the scoot) and if it's about to go pop or bang...
-
That's great news Music I have not listened to it for the last couple of years, no point really... I hope your hearing remains about the same and you can continue to hear as much as you can now for the foreseeable future.

That is in the back garden, out of sight.

I grow these each year....after the flower has died away I collect the seeds which I have to put in the freezer for 2 week, if i dont the seeds will not germinate.

I thought I felt back to near normal.....I have just put a new quilt cover, sheet and pillow cases on our bed and now I am knackered....had to sit down....

My daughter (when she was single) nearly managed to escape to Spain....she got a job in a bar in Arroyo del la Miel...she was there for around 8 months...then the English owners fled back to the UK leaving her stranded with no job....so we had to fork out to get her back here.

He was a only child..bought up getting whatever he wanted.....and he wanted to continue that in adult life. He blames my wife and her sister for him not being able to buy the sports car he always wanted....a E Type Jag.

For the 1st year that me and my wife were together he only communicated with me in grunts.

My wife would leave tomorrow if we had the finances to do it...........bugger all here for us.....even less now we are both retired. We have kids and grandchildren.......but rarely see them.......only see our daughter on a regular basis.

My father in law told me to buy a one way ticket out of the UK in the early 80,s........wish I had taken his advice.

Mine expires on my 70th birthday........I think it has to be renewed every 3 years after that. Will look into it more nearer the time.

I think some people are just thinking they have flu......our neighbour just the other day said to my wife over the fence......me and Roland (her husband) have the flu..........I know from experience that if she had flu she would not be walking around her garden in 6c.

I think my Dacia will see out my driving days... It's 9 years old now with 66,000 miles on the clocks...plenty of life left in it.

Every time i went out or came back in......cough cough cough. Wife was even worse.......she coughed utill she had to find somewhere to sit down. But (we think) she had Covid in the February that it all started......we were in Cyprus coming home and there was a few on the plane coughing and barking......then she started the next day.....it was early in the Covid pandemic....and our doctor said she had just a chest infection.......but looking back on it we think it was Covid.....she really struggled to get air into her lungs for nearly 2 weeks...she spent all that time sleeping propped up on our sofa...when she could sleep.......if it had been a few weeks or more later I think she would have been in hospital.

As said I feel almost back to normal (for my age ) I have never been so lacking in get up and go as I have these past weeks.......apart from going to the toilet all I have done is sit in this chair and cough and bark. One day early last week I thought come on shake yourself...get out of the chair and go and do a bit of food shopping...came back absolutely knackered and coughing even worse......back into the chair...

To how I was I now feel nearly back to normal....

Rich..... I coughed for so long and so hard that my stomach muscles were sore most of the time....even my ribcage hurt..there was very little rest from it......getting some rest was nigh on impossible.....I spent several nights sat in my armchair from 1am till 5am.....only exhaustion got me back to bed.....still coughing.....and a bloody sore throat as well.
