If the weather forecast is right I doubt I will be doing much on the car for the next few days. Getting right under the car is the problem, side jack does not lift the body very high......needs a lift or a pit to do a proper job.

Looked at as much as I can under the front near side( wife says that's where the noise is coming from) of the car, cannot see anything amiss, but what do I know.

The car did not come with a handbook/manual. Obviously the lack of a radio/CD does not impact me, my wife likes her music on when we travel. I read (maybe mistakenly) that putting the radio in the freezer for a day or so may bring the screen back to life..................or maybe not.

It is the original radio, worked fine till I had to replace the cars battery, put new battery on and CODE popped up on the screen, I did not bother with if for a couple of months, now the Screen has gone black, looked on Marketplace for a replacement radio/CD.....Cheapest was around £140 , so did not bother with it.

That's why iam trying to flog the scoot, hopefully next spring it will go...then it will be

Cold 3c and sunny here, but I have to work on the damn car, it makes a loud creaking sound like a wooden boat in a storm when travelling over rough road surfaces....
