No...there are 6 bungalows that are meant for OAP,s or the disabled, all the other houses are for tenants of mixed ages......

That also applies to our next door neighbour.......she collapsed in the bathroom and could not reach the pull cords.....my wife heard her knocking on the wall with her walking stick.......

If my wife falls over during the night she will have to wait till I wake up for help......

They are installing something called Life line.....bugger knows how it works, the old pull cords I tied up near to the ceiling......never used them.

Housing association workers are here......taking out the emergency pull cords and control box........looks like I will have some painting to do when they have finished.

My mum went to see her sister..who was married to a American guy. Sight seeing was not top of the agenda....but she did enjoy the visit there......we have a album full of photos....we would have had cine film of the visit too, but my other aunt who went on the trip with her forgot to remove the lens cap from the camera.

Yep that was my dad......definitely a creature of habit.

Oh and my wife has just added that iam proficient in talking shit.....

I wear baseball caps, keeps my hairless head warm in winter....but I have a couple light coloured bush hats to keep my head from getting burnt in the summer......Bill & Ben hats my wife calls them.

Nope......he never wore a hat (that I remember) but his dad was never without his flat cap....one for Monday to Saturday..and another one just for Sunday.

My mother visited her sister in the USA (Iowa)....dad was invited too but he turned down the chance to go, for what reason? he never said. He was a man of his time.....we have photos of him on the East Coast wearing a sports jacket, collar and tie.....if it was warm he would remove the tie even on the colliery fishing matches he wore the same gear... If he went to Skeggy he would get the car checked over at the garage before the journey.........but it was a Moggy Traveller.

Gt Yarmouth......we use to holiday there most years as my dad's cousin owned a guest house there.....I think that is the furthest my dad ever drove too....not a well tavelled man....he did go to the border of Wales once to visit a relation....apart from that he never travelled outside of England.

Ask Pete ......said it might cause some confusion. I only used Clive at my workplace, wife calls me Clive when I have done something wrong.......which is quite often.

Mine is similar, when I was a kid my aunt May & uncle Fred (Frederick was his full name) use to look after me after I finished at school till my mum came home, my brother said you are getting more like uncle Fred each day, so he called me Fred and the rest of the family did the same.. When Pete started this forum he said I would have to use my correct name as there is already a Fred on here.

And my name is Clive.........but family and friends have all called me Fred since the age of around 10 years old.....
