Ahh Sawbridgeworth, one of my favourite destinations, sort of.
-
Perhaps she needed some advice on plumbing.
-
What did I say?.....can't see my "not funny" comment......just asking
-
Well they do seem to need help over there....has @Motobiker gone back as a advance party. ?
-
It reminds me of when our flight to Mallorca was delayed by 7 hours, Thomas Cook rep came around handing out food & drink vouchers for........................................................................£3 each!!....with mine and my wife's vouchers combined we were able to get a bacon sarnie and a coffee to share between us both.
-
We normally get a lightening flash, wait 20 seconds for the thunder clap, then wait several minutes for another flash, then have four or five flashes and it's done with, pathetic
-
2.30am, i would be on my 2nd cuppa and getting ready to leave home go to work. Oh how I miss those early starts
-
We had a spectacular thunderstorm at 2.30am this morning, none of your usual couple of flash and bangs.....the lightening was streaking across the sky, the likes of which we have only seen in Spain many years ago, but funnily is hardly rained. And after I struggled to get back to sleep, knackered now.

Tool are easier to grab and run away with and it's easy to sell tools on Marketplace, a scoot/bike not so.
-
Not really around here, but after having the shed broken into on Boxing Day night it's made me a bit paranoid took all my tools and could have taken the scoot if they had wanted, I now park my car right up to the shed doors each night, car alarm would sound if they tried to move it. But when we are away they have a easy way into the shed.....so it's coming in the spare room.
-
My insurance also asked what chain and lock I use.
-
We are away next week (weather permitting) so the scoot will be in the spare room for the duration, even there it will have a padlock and chain on it, Be easier to leave it in the (steel) shed, but shed is about as secure as a biscuit tin....can cut the steel sheets with a Stanley knife.
-
I would, but the bike was stolen in 1982 That bike (Honda CB400f) was never seen again.
-
In all my years of riding I have only ever had 1 bike stolen from me, I don't want to ever go through the anger/rage and frustration again.........the feeling when you return to where you parked your bike and find a empty space is soul destroying ........and the absolute crap that insurance companies come up with when trying to claim, it may only be a lowly scooter to you guys, but it's my scooter paid for with my money Rant over.
-
Have to be careful around here, there are some dubious guys riding round in vans.
-
Yep same here, set off on a ride, come back and it's is dusty......but it looks clean as I don't think I have ridden it in the wet...,..I will remove the seat tub which makes access to the engine a doddle. A few things to do to it, oil change in around 1000 miles, new plug, and the wheel paint is poor, respray during the winter.
-
It does until you get up close, the wheels are dirty, and the black plastics are covered in dust, suppose that's with it being so dry.
-
It is around 22c/23c but it is quite humid today. The rain will arrive tomorrow the weatherman says, and could be heavy at times, and it's going to stay around the same temps over the weekend, a warm & wet weekend.
-
Was a warm ride, cool in the airport.....er hospital. also went to Asda for a bun. Not much of a ride, could have kept riding, but doubt the buns would have survived a long ride.
-
Whoo hoo...I am off out on the scoot again today Only going to the hospital for my MRI........but it's better than nothing.
-
Na, there were 3 others.
-
You do have a way with words....er well 1 word.
-
But I can see the upside of putting a bike in a van/trailer and driving in comfort/warmth and riding it for a few days when you arrive at your destination, it's what the Germans did when I went on my Germany trip.
-
Who am I to comment, I hardly ride, can't take a decent photo, so my opinion is worth bugger all.
