Outlaws have gone (early) home......they seemed to be dissatisfied with the Custard creams.

May wash and clean the car, or may not, not much enthusiasm at the moment. Charge the scoots battery up, in preparation for (hopefully) a little ride out tomorrow. Outlaws calling in this afternoon, I have hidden the Hobnobs and Jaffa cakes, they can make do with Bourbon biscuits and Custard Creams.

The look and smell part I can go along with........but the other!

I would try, but my photographic capabilities are around zero. But they are not as bad as my aunt's photos, she visited her sister in America (1975) and took dozens of photos, all the time with the lens cap in place.

I did have a Solex before I was 16 years old, but it was minus the engine.......a heavy bugger to pedal.

We just buy a 50/50 loaf, we don't eat much bread.

About a 5 mile detour. The water only gets that deep in winter, or when they open the sluice gate. Only floods in the summer after after a storm. Most of the summer it's around 6 inch deep.

There is a cafe in those buildings, + a visitors centre and function hall. They used to nail front number plates on the pedestrian bridge that came off of vehicles, but they ran out of room
