  1. Only about 1,200 miles behind him.
  2. Give a minute.............................just shooting some Crack Cocaine.
  3. Yes There are scoots that will sit at 80mph (130kph) with no trouble, and be comfy while doing it..
  4. The likes of Lambrettas and Vespa you feel sat on.....it's a bit like sitting on a dining chair, and about as comfortable!.
  5. 70 is fine, after that it gets a bit leary.....very vague.
  6. Different types of scoots, some you feel perched on, others (sports scoots) you feel more sat in........mine is a touring/commuting scoot, so sat sort of on. It's a ponderous beast, front end very vague, not feedback, rear (with the pivoting engine) either wallows or is rock solid if the springs are wound up....it does not inspire spirited riding, even though it will (book says) do 100mph.......I don't think I would like to be onboard at that speed.
  7. So your saying your unstable?
  8. I am using the scoot less and less. My wife can't drive. Wife has not been pillion since shed had her knee done. In the car she can tell me if there is a rattle clunking or some strange noise. On the scoot I will only know when it goes pop and stops.
  9. I never said motorcycling.....
  10. To be straight, for obvious (to me) reasons, I may pack it in when/if the scoot get sold.
  11. Try riding a small wheeled motorized pogo stick like I have You've never had it so good.
  12. From what I can gather it says it's basically half of the Honda Fit engine......whatever a Honda Fit is.

  14. Being not that well travelled I only know the slang name for the northern countries population, the Spanish are Spanish, and the Portuguese are Portuguese.......yes the Italian,s were called Wop's.
  15. Very very few bikers nod/wave to scooter riders here.
  16. @Cupid Stunt....you now wear the cloak of invisibility.........
  17. All I can think is, does it really matter? Suppose Six would be interested though!.

  19. It's a bargain at that price, you would struggle to find a 2002 T Max at that price. The X Max will do over 90mph.. perfectly able to do long distances.
  20. That was a very very good price....you have almost stolen it.
  21. All TMax,s from it introduction had full length motorcycle forks.....rigid mounted engine, underslung monoshock rear suspension......take all the plastics off ( which I have done several times) and what you end up with is a bike, only thing missing is a clutch lever and 6 gears...........even though it does have a multiplate clutch fitted.
  22. The latest T Max560 is still CVT but Yamaha have it to nigh on perfection... Dread to think how much a T Max would cost if they (doubt it's possible) fitted a DCT engine.
  23. It's a big improvement on the Majesty 400........looks more like the T Max, only slightly smaller....which has its benefits.
