We did the camping malarkey in the 80,s, with a huge 4 berth frame tent. At the time it was good fun, but now in my dotage I much prefer a hotel with all the amenities. But each to their own, If you want to do it, go for it @gymwitch

Helping wife get stuff ready for our meal.......such fun.

Work gave me some work boots, the things were painful to wear for the 1st month..

I will stick with the Para boots, they even come broken in.

Seems they are as expensive, if not moreso than Dr. Martins.

We have to register our car reg with the council to use our local home waste depot.

I wear Para boots from the army surplus, new soles fitted..... £45, the things are almost indestructible!.

It must be more trouble to take that shite up there than to the council tip.
