When my wife was in hospital in Benalmadena they would bring her food tray, but all it had on it was a bottle of water and a glass , I was well fed and watered in the waiting room with free coffee and buns (Magdalena,s)
Finally!.......the NHS gets its arse in gear....... granddaughter has a appointment for 5th of June.......much better than the original one at the end of August.
Yes there are many places to ride around here, it gets quite busy with mountain bike riders in the woods and lanes around here, can ride quite a way without having to ride on a road.
Can't afford to buy a bike.
And it has been so long since I rode one I bet this would be the outcome.
She offered to let me go to the BSB races at Donington Park.
But she knows I can't afford the entrance price!.
There is that.
But it's the financial side of retirement that's the killer........more than enough time to do things , and time to visit places, but in the present financial climate funds are seriously lacking to do as we/I want.
Just a weekly trip out to Asda was not what I envisaged in retirement...
That, and the smell from the brewery (it closed years ago) are/were the 2 smells that made me want to gip!.
And the stink from the sewerage works, when the wind was blowing from the wrong direction..
