My distance vision is quite good.
-
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113734095733 Plenty of these on Flea Bay......may buy one and doctor it to fit.
-
Quite possibly.......I suppose if I had great vision the present speedo would be fine, but it's just the right/wrong distance when riding, so would have to wear my reading specs, which are not needed for distance.
-
I don't have trouble converting km to mph, tachometer/speedo in lorries are in km,s......it's just the km figures are a little small.
-
I can get a (small) weekly shop under the scoots seat.....
-
A overlay would be better.
-
That may be the way I will go, I don't want to be wearing my reading specs while riding.
-
The only downside of the dash is the speedo, it is in km,s, mph is the small lettering....need my glasses on to read it.

We are away next Monday (in a caravan) till Friday........but after the last caravan adventure (Mablethorpe ) we will take our own kingsize quilt and pillows, as the the pillows provided were as flat as After Eight mints, and the quilt barely covered the bed, And my wife wants her coffee maker taking too....I don't talk to her till she has had her 1st morning coffee.

I managed to remove the Martini racing stickers today, even with my daughter hairdryer warming the adhesive up they kept flaking into small pieces, but managed to do it without marking the paintwork.

When our kids were little, we had a huge 3 bedroom frame tent, had some good hols in that, but then we had a holiday in a B&B and tenting did not seem so much fun after that.

A bit like saying Syphilis is more pleasant than Gonorrhea.?
-
Not in sunny Scunny, everything is black there.

My 1st wife came from that area, her cousin lived in Consett, we visited and stayed the night, and like you said, in the morning everything was red, like being on Mars.
-
Cheers, just want no rain, so we can get out.

We had a very nice few days in Tenby (years ago) and Saundersfoot, had a few days in Porthmadog, but the weather was very grim there, spent most of the time indoors. So hoping Prestatyn is not too bad, if it,s not up to spec it will be back to the east coast next year.
-
Fingers crossed for next week..........unless @Tym sends one of his used storms our way.
-
Been there several times, don't think the concrete boat will go to sea.
-
Was only thinking of your welfare......cos when we go away the weather usually turns to crap.
-
Hope he ain't there the 2nd week in October.
-
I only own 1 tie, bought for my daughter's wedding, doubt I will ever wear it again....
-
The guy 2nd from the right reminds me of my dad. Every day!, trousers, sports jacket and collar and tie. Same when at home doing things like gardening, same clothes. Every holiday photo we had, be it walking along the sea front or sat in a deck chair, same clothes. But if it got really warm, he would take off his tie and undo his shirts top button......he did not do that very often though.

@Slowlycatchymonkey......enjoy the adventure.

He had more acceleration, got a couple of scoot lengths on me to 40, from there on he was steadily pulling away till we got to 70......
