  1. I think it is a church....been in one twice, last time I went into a church I would rather forget about the whole event.
  2. Not a cloud in the sky!...and feels reasonably warm out there!.......it can't be a Bank Holiday weekend surely!.
  3. The frame under the Daelims tupperware is in a great condition for a 9 year old scoot, but there again it has not been ridden during the winter, or much during the rest of the year. But it is standing up well. It does OK for a 250cc, but it will hardly ever get the adrenaline flowing, and it seems to be set up for good mpg over mph, but it is (which is not saying much) much faster than other 250cc scoots , the Yamaha Majesty 250 I had was 4 or 5 bhp less, and it was really noticeable, 75mph was absolutely top whack, much less will a pillion on board.
  4. I can only afford to run the scoot, another bike is just a pipe dream...... I can get spark plugs for £10, tyres where put on just before I got the scoot, had a look at them, in good condition......air filter is the problem, with no importer or dealers getting genuine Daelim parts is problematic.
  5. The new models are getting too expensive for what they are now, can buy a car for the same money as a new T Max costs.
  6. Nowhere near, Peak District is 40 miles away..
  7. Dodged that bullet.......as i have no plans to visit the south east.
  8. I would like a T Max 560, now that has some excitement when riding it, but at £13,500 I think not.
  9. For some! people there is.
  10. In a ideal world I would like a bike and a scoot, the scoot is convenient for short trips like nipping to the shops or into town with its good underseal storage, and also like to have a bike for the fun part of riding, the scoot is lacking in the fun side of riding....the handling gets exciting if I push it too hard through the bends.. But the scoot is very cheap to run, very good on fuel, servicing consists of 1 litre of oil, 1 spark plug and a air filter, and with so little power the tyres hardly wear, well mine don't, cos I don't go anywhere to wear them out . so it suits my pocket. So yes I would prefer a bike in a ideal world if I had the choice.
  11. I could sit and look at that view for quite a while, would have to be there for the full effect though.
  12. Ah the memories, Parkas, Ben Sherman shirts, Staypress trousers and Doc Martins!, I did not dress up like that back then, and certainly wouldn't nowdays, old twats on Lambretta,s and Vespas reliving their 20,s, even though now they are in their 60,s and 70,s.
  13. Sorry to disappoint you.
  14. I have sat thinking, furthest I have ridden from home is 27 miles to Donington Park, all other rides no further than 10 miles
  15. That's 100 more miles than me..
  16. Dry, but cloudy here, but I am about 40 miles away....
  17. The newspaper I worked for had a box at Donington Park, I was able to go and watch some interesting racing, Trucks, sports cars, Interserie Cup racing, and saloon cars, but could not get tickets for the big events, they used the box then for corporate events.
  18. Nope... never had need for one, but it is a idea.
  19. More than likely, Mallory Park, Cadwell Park and Oulton were the ones I went too, Transatlantic races were great to watch....
  20. it use to be a regular event going there.
  21. Thinking where to put the pool now that summer is on the way...
  22. Looks a bit better, it's green, but is not all grass, Dandelions and Daisy's and field grass mainly.....at least its not covered in piles of dog shite like next doors bit of grass is.
