Nope, at our surgery you can only phone for an appointment, if you go in person they will not entertain you........ yep it would get me out , but its a shit drive through town during rush hour....

We have to ring our doctors surgery after 8am to try to get a appointment for that day...just to hear "You are 34 in the queue".... when you get through, the receptionist will tell you...."all today's appointments have been allocated"......so have to go through the same rigmarole the following day...and the day after..

I have been trying for a week to get my doctors attention, failing so far.

We pay our bills and eat well, but having to budget down to the last 1p on everything gets boring, just to be able to get out of the bungalow for a scenic drive would be nice........

Oh yes!......but we are no better off for it, rent up £60 per month, and all the others to.....wife worked it out and we will be around £2 per week better off...

Some are as bad, or worse than the English when on holiday, we had 6 of them in our hotel, they were a bloody nuisance. Bartender thought they where English.

They will get more Germans to visit the islands, but some of them are as bad as the English tourist.

Sis in law loves Tenerife, visits at least twice each year, I have only been to Fuerteventura once, did not rate the place.

Yeh...I was in Majorca when they were doing the same thing years ago. Spain, Majorca or Tenerife it's no bother to me because I have not been abroad for years, and very unlikely to again..

We will never return to the EU.....cos THEY won't have us back. Can't really blame them.

My cousin in Canada has days/weeks when they are trapped indoors, not so much the snow, just very low temperatures. She moved to Canada around the year 2000,she has been back here on a few visits, but would not return here to live, much better lifestyle in Canda, even with the bad winters.

In 1999 there was solar eclipse in the UK, which was visible in its entirety in Cornwall and Devon, we use to holiday in Devon most summers, but accommodation prices went stratospheric for that year, so we buggered off to Spain instead.
