At least you get proper winters and summers, I would not mind a bad (snow & cold) winter if we had a good summer to follow, but we don't get many of those.

The guys have arrived to fit new soffit &, facias, they were supposed to be here on Wednesday, they were going to do our neighbours bungalow today, but they told our neighbour that he needs his (6x4) shed moving for them to be able to do the work, something they are not allowed to do the guy said........our neighbour only has 1 leg and moves around in a wheelchair, fuck knows how he will manage to move the shed.

It was a non productive day today, i managed to tidy the shed, but that is all i did today, then my daughter bought back the stepladders, fork, spade, rake, tree loppers, electric drill, tyre pump and saw, I have to store them out of the way in the shed tomorrow, but where?. I need a bigger shed.

I went in the shed, with good intentions to tidy the bomb site up, after 10 mins it was too cold in there. Still waiting (hopefully) for a phone call or message from some interested party enquiring about buying the scoot, none so far?.. bugger.

Heating it is on 1 hour in the morning, and 1 hour at night. This for the remainder of the day, B&M,s luxury heated throw.

New window fitted, glass area is somewhat smaller. Heating on 25c

As soon as they have finished the installation our heating will be set to maximum.

It is a bit fresh here, and the window fitters are due to arrive in the next hour or so.....brrrr.

Same conditions here but only 6c...... I started taking the Tupperware off the scoot to install a new spark plug, then the electric (ancient) heater blew its fuse twice, which made the shed freezing, I may finish the job tomorrow.

Condolences @Skippy............my dad,s passing was similar, he was 88 years old and in in care home, he seemed to be OK when we last visited him, then we received a call from the care home to say get here quick!...the home was only 10 miles away, but we did not make it in time..... As others have said, get out and ride 🏍.....
