Nope, at our surgery you can only phone for an appointment, if you go in person they will not entertain you........ yep it would get me out , but its a shit drive through town during rush hour....

We have to ring our doctors surgery after 8am to try to get a appointment for that day...just to hear "You are 34 in the queue".... when you get through, the receptionist will tell you...."all today's appointments have been allocated"......so have to go through the same rigmarole the following day...and the day after..

I have been trying for a week to get my doctors attention, failing so far.

We pay our bills and eat well, but having to budget down to the last 1p on everything gets boring, just to be able to get out of the bungalow for a scenic drive would be nice........

Oh yes!......but we are no better off for it, rent up £60 per month, and all the others to.....wife worked it out and we will be around £2 per week better off...

But on another subject, doctors my wife phoned up for a repeat prescription for my glass back medication, to be told "the doctor no longer prescribes that medication, I will have him ring you after surgery hours to discuss this with you".....that was Tuesday, has he rung back?..as he fuck..

I can't get a dentist in our area, gave up trying to find one.

To be straight, I am happy with 21c.........29c is holiday weather where I can jump in a pool or go into a room and turn the air con on.....18c tomorrow for us, then back down to 13c (or thereabouts) on Sunday..
