Wife gets the money out of the bank when our pension goes in, money for 4 weeks shopping, and my fuel allowance and a bit of money for little extras.

Sister & brother in law go to Australia every year, they say it exists, I have never been, so can't say otherwise.

We did apply for a credit card, but was denied. We have a debit card, but never used it for shopping....just use cash.

As I have said before, Shirebrook has many Polish/Romanian/Lithuanian people there, Sports Direct was/is their main employer.

It is no busier at the weekend in Mansfield. And we have to find somewhere else to do our shopping, Asda is going cashless in the near future..

Many of the shops have Polish or (I assume) Romanians workers, better than working at Sport Direct. Only a couple of Polish food shops in Mansfield.

Going down town in a short while, I ought to learn the Polish/Romanian language, it would be very helpful in the shops
