Yes it is a MG ZR....but it is still a Rover 25 in a posh frock. It was in the line up telling the story of the Rovers that were produced leading up to them going bust. There are also other modern cars there that are on show, but they too do not qualify as museum displays..

Naa, my buddy had 2 free entry vouchers.
-
I did not either, although I have passed the site many times.
-
That MG is in great condition, it has only travelled 3,000 miles since new.

It is a good sized display, buy I do not think I would pay £18..50p out of my own pocket to get in... These are the best of the photos, David Bailey I ain't. We had a nice ride back through the country lanes, passed through a couple of new to me villages, the temp was just right for riding,

that ain't the price, it's up for swaps. It's actually worth about £1200.

Why is it when you are looking for a certain bike/scoot to buy there is never any for sale? Then when you ain't got the funds they turn up like buses, 2 together?

The day started wet, i almost said sod the Mot, but dried up around 9am, so game on!. Rode the 200 metres to the end of our Cul de Sac, and turned onto Jubilee Way, passing the many pot holes and discarded Mc. D wrappers and Costa coffee drinks containers, I also passed by such sites as the Tesco Express, and the Cuckoo Birch pub, carried on the 600 metres to the Oak Tree roundabout, turn left onto Eakring Road, passing by car corner (Peugeot and Suzuki dealer, and Evans Halshaw) which strangely never seems to have people looking at car on offer for sale. After 500 metres I turned onto the industrial estate where the testing station in located. The testing station is 1st come, 1st served, I had a hour wait till I was at the head of the queue. The tester approached me, I gave him a quick rundown on the Keyless ignition, and off he went, I watched from the viewing area, the location of the fuel filler had him foxed, it was easier for me to open it than try to explain the opening procedure. The test took all of 10 mins, resulting in a Pass with no advisories, which I expected. I did the retun journey home, the exact reverse of my journey to the station, all in all a nice hour and a half out of the bungalow. The ride as made me wish for a longer ride, so at the weekend I may go to Poundland in Mansfield!, bike/scooter parking is free there. So my wallet is £29 lighter, the mileage on the scoot has risen by 2 miles, and the temperature gauge did not rise off the C position.. Now that it has 1 years MOT do I (try) to sell it, or keep it.?. Yes I am

Nice here today, 21c and a nice breeze blowing. I have put the scoot back together, tyres inflated, battery charged, all ready for the MOT tomorrow.
