  1. Mmm....i like that. Better buy a Lottery ticket.
  2. I have painted mine twice, it may only be a single cylinder, but the price of a new exhaust (which is almost unattainable with there being no Daelim importer) is very steep. Not bad here today, cloudy, dry and no breeze.......but weatherman says snow (maybe a good covering) next Wednesday.. Iam going to the local bike shop now, just looking, it passes a hour or so.
  3. Get some BBQ paint on the scoots exhaust, they are renowned for rusting.
  4. Decisions..Decisions......so much I could do this weekend, but I expect I will end up doing absolutely bugger all as usual.
  5. I would not like to be 40 and looking for work in today's employment climate, I am thick so no company would set me on anyway. The days of large employers (in our town) are long gone, the company I worked for ended up being one of, if not, the largest employer in town, now years ago they were just a middling company. So there is not so much job security nowdays, hire and fire at will. As said. Good luck with your search.
  6. If it was not for bad luck you would have no luck at all. Hope you get sorted quick.
  7. https://images.app.goo.gl/UV4E4356K9bu1tWt9 Excuses....Excuses Hope they can sort you out.
  8. I do not read bike reviews, not much point, unless I was thinking of purchasing that particular bike. I do watch motorcycle repair and restoration vids.......don't know why, because I ain't doing that again.
  9. Like those daft sods on holiday in Spain/Portugal/Majorca eating a Sunday roast in 35c.
  10. Minorca Airport was not too bad, with it being comparatively small, Palma was a pain, waiting to be offloaded from the airplane, then a bleeding long way to passport control, and trying to push a wheelchair and pull a luggage trolley at the same time And Google Street View as deleted the image of us in Alcudia...bastards.
  11. After my wifes 1st knee op she seemed to favour the non operated on knee more, which resulted in it wearing out even quicker. At least she doesn't need the wheelchair or sticks now. Pushing her in that wheelchair around Majorca & Minorca while on holidays was damn hard work, but I was as fit as a fiddle then.
  12. My wife had her knee done while wide awake (epidural) and chatting to the anesthetist She says that was the easy part, the pain during recovery was the worst, so bad she considered not having the other one done. Luckily her hips joints are reasonably OK, her lower back troubles her from time to time, it is ankles and feet that she suffers with the most. So we wish Mrs XTreme all the best for any future medical interventions.
  13. Hope Mrs. Xtreme is feeling a little better today...
  14. Yeh it confused us too, and they have to serve the whole sentence without parole....... a stupid outcome from (as far as I could make out) a smack in the face..
  15. Yep, 1st guy did not seem to give a toss about the guys who died, different when he was told his kid was going to be put in care.
  16. Overnight stay?.......we send our best wishes.
  17. Everything heading south....
  18. Hope they can get her some mobility back. My wife's back is no problem, it is from her hips down to her feet............ gravity is a bastard.
  19. Why not..,....Volvo raced a estate car in BTCC..
  20. Good thing thing that they don't do BOGOF,s there...
  21. I use to deliver to the Scooby Clinic near Chesterfield, in the yard there were at least 20 Impretza,s in various states of detonation and a couple of Forresters, I asked one of the guys who worked there if he had a Scooby.....he said not fucking likely, a grenade waiting to go off
  22. You can pick up almost anything in the shops in Baza it seems......T bags.... coughs.
  23. I know of 6 people who are coughing and barking, 4 of them have been in this condition for several weeks......I make a point of avoiding them, which for me is easily done.
  24. Change of job coming up?
