Son in law bought himself a Lego Groot for Christmas...he is still struggling to put it together.

Got to treat the (not so) little lady to a ride in the countryside, er well through the trading estate anyway.
-
I had a C15 which was stripped of most of its bodywork, ragged it around a field near where I lived, I spent more time on the deck as the tyres were not exactly designed for off road use...
-
Raining fast here....but we have to go to the shop for bread and some other things, may drive back the long way, which must be all of 5 miles.
-

Yep....seen people I know shuffle off, some at a early age too. Life in general is good, would like to get out and about more and see things before my time comes.

Not on the same scale as the £60,000 car, but i was taken aback when my daughter told me hers and her hubbies monthly phone bill was £85 each!...I will stick with my crap phone and £10 PAYG.

I forgot to add that my wife gets a pension from her days working at Woolworths........................... £10 per year!....she asked if she could take what she receives in one lump sum.....,they said no.
-
I am on only on a basic pension + a small pit pension, wife does not get full state pension, fuck knows why......people have said "you should have saved more"...apart from a few years in the early 70,s I was never on good enough money to be able to put money aside for my old age....and to be honest, in my early 20,s I did not give the idea of retirement a 2nd thought, we are suffering (kind of) for it now, we live and eat (but don't heat) and pay our bills, but other activities (holidays abroad, trips to the coast, and other social events) are out of the question, but we try to make the most of what we have, but like others, we would be happy with a bit more money.

Shhhh.....I am playing mind games.

The rotten tree came down last night, luckily it fell in the opposite direction to my shed, not damaged the fence from what I can see, so I have some clearing up to do, shame I ain't got a log burner, If i had it would be a damn sight warmer in here.

If I am still alive and kicking in another year I may go on the Cochlear Implant waiting list, be better if it was done at our local hospital and not one the other side of Nottingham. As I have said before, I would rather be deaf than blind, that really is a disability....
-
Doc says my tumour is not causing him to be concerned...it is a little larger, but not significantly, they may leave my MRI scans to every 18 months instead of every 12 months, they will make a decision on that after my next one in June, he is also happy that my balance is not effected, but he said that could change in the blink of a eye as he has found out from other patients......... better get on some rides (spring onwards) while I am still able to........overall I am happy, things could be worse.
-
Remember what I was doing in January/February? I can't remember what I was doing last week.........been to Mablethorpe twice this year though.
