When my daughter was 17 she bought a Piaggio NRG 50 to travel to work on, 27mph on the flat, maybe 35 downhill, we bought a sports exhaust, without the restricter in the header pipe, and took the restricter spacer out of the variator, resulting in 45mph on the flat, 50+ downhill, illegal, very, but a damn site safer than 27mph with buses and lorries trying to overtake her.

We were in the process of buying a Barratts house, they gave us a choice of a bathroom suite in that blue colour, or one in Avocado we decided to have blue.

Same as my buddy, all he had in the past were Vespas,only since 2005 when he got into the modern autos (T Max & Gilera) but he also has a Vespa 300 now too.

Never owned a Vespa, because there were no Vespa dealers in our town, only a Lambretta stockist.

There are various scoots/bikes that I have looked at, been listed for same time or longer.....not the weather or time of year to be selling.....think its price dropped to get rid.

No bonnet, it does have a boot/trunk (for our Murican members) though, I sit on its lid when riding.

All mod cons on em nowdays.... Predictive text seems to have remove the word car..

Put battery on the scoot, started 1st jab of the button, tyres about 5lb down, front and back...pumped them up. Sprayed the CAR wiper mechanicals, think I will have to remove the mechanism and give it a proper clean and grease the pivots. Think a mouse/rat/squirrel has been gnawing on a bit of the wiring under the bonnet, taped the bare wires up, been a busy morning so far.

Now that sounds much nicer We a little short of Spanish restaurants here, bit short of any restaurants apart from Chinese & Italian......there is a Gurka restaurant in the area, but I don't fancy eating Yak.

I will be taking her, along with my daughter and her husband to the local pub for a meal. Last time we had Paella in Majorca they put chicken feet in it!
