It is just a flight of fantasy for me, but I can look one over and appreciate the style.

A guy I know bought a RE Meteor after owning a Classic 350.....he prefers the Meteor.
-
I certainly like the looks of it, too be honest it would not bother me speedwise, I am passed riding like a loon, I find riding fast tiring. Still like to look one over.
-
And it's not very fast.....think my scoot would give it a run for the money..
-
Would like to have a close look at one, but that is all it will be......... Australian Dollars to the £ makes it about £3800....+ on the road charges........maybe £4200 or thereabouts...or more
-
Doubt it will come here.......

Before we had pull cords in each room, they were connected (how? I don't know) to a call centre in Leicester...they worked every time they were tested. Earlier this year then installed a new system, this is the 1st time they have rung about testing it. This is what we have now, maybe you know more about it than I do.
-
We had a call from the housing association this morning... "Hello (name and where they were calling from) we are testing the alarm in your bungalow....please press the emergency button" My wife did and nothing! "Can you press the button again"...still nothing. "How long has the alarm not worked?"........Fuck knows, we have never pressed it before. "We will send out an engineer as soon as possible" It their record on fixing our bathroom light is anything to go on we could be in trouble.

Trackies can't go wrong with them......I lounge about all day in mine, but I don't go out in them.

Goth week in Albox?.......you ought to see how some of them dress during Whitby Goth week.......
-
I use to call into the Haribo shop in Pontefract, big tubs of Tangfastics and other confectionery delights were much cheaper that in ordinary shops, wonder if the shop is still open.
-
From what I read it's a India only model, but yeh I like it.

The Dacia is much better than the Renault Magane I had, that thing was a nightmare, every other week, another problem, only had it around 8 months, then gave up on it, it was on the road for another year, then it disappeared from the DVLA records, scrapped no doubt.

Top 5 Don’ts of Motorcycle Camping A Guide to a Smooth Adventure
Clive replied to cafebikerpro's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
After a 2 hour (which we maybe do twice per year) car journey my wife's hips/knees/ankles seize up. The next day or so she is usually immobile.......so I try to do what is best for her....which sometimes means me missing out on things....but my responsibility is to her. We did camping in our 30s and 40,s, it was a big fuck off 4 birth tent with most of the necessary equipment to make a week away tolerable, then it was a adventure, now it would be a pain in the joints. If (which I very much doubt) i was to go away for a weekend, even without my wife it would be a B&B or something like a Travelodge.....camping?...been there...done it....no longer have the desire to try it again. -
When I was at work, if Christmas Day & Boxing Day & New Years Day fell in the working week some of our delivery drivers had to work those days, Hospitals and Old folks home do not close over these days, I was unlucky a few times and had to work.....now life is one long holiday.
-
Maybe he is busy with a early delivery.
-
I have had a couple of problems with it......one time is would not accelerate from mid revs, fine pulling from a standstill.......2 sensors replaced and a £350 bill and it was fine......indicator/light stalks aren't very robust, £150 from Dacia....£15 from Flea Bay....guess which I bought Air con has packed up..had it regassed , but it still don't work......it eats front tyres....had it tracked, but still rips the outside edge off the tyres....as said, seats are not very hard wearing, almost through on my seat...but its great on fuel, and it hardly uses any oil from one service to the next.

Well bugg.........whoah stop there!..................... never tried that, and I will be dammed it works!
