  1. Are those Jubilee clips on the exhaust ?
  2. I only said epic for me!.... it may be something else to you
  3. Iam (hopefully) going on a epic (for me ) trip next Wednesday to the Grest British Car Journey museum, photos and ride report will be included. .....watch this space.
  4. The day started wet, i almost said sod the Mot, but dried up around 9am, so game on!. Rode the 200 metres to the end of our Cul de Sac, and turned onto Jubilee Way, passing the many pot holes and discarded Mc. D wrappers and Costa coffee drinks containers, I also passed by such sites as the Tesco Express, and the Cuckoo Birch pub, carried on the 600 metres to the Oak Tree roundabout, turn left onto Eakring Road, passing by car corner (Peugeot and Suzuki dealer, and Evans Halshaw) which strangely never seems to have people looking at car on offer for sale. After 500 metres I turned onto the industrial estate where the testing station in located. The testing station is 1st come, 1st served, I had a hour wait till I was at the head of the queue. The tester approached me, I gave him a quick rundown on the Keyless ignition, and off he went, I watched from the viewing area, the location of the fuel filler had him foxed, it was easier for me to open it than try to explain the opening procedure. The test took all of 10 mins, resulting in a Pass with no advisories, which I expected. I did the retun journey home, the exact reverse of my journey to the station, all in all a nice hour and a half out of the bungalow. The ride as made me wish for a longer ride, so at the weekend I may go to Poundland in Mansfield!, bike/scooter parking is free there. So my wallet is £29 lighter, the mileage on the scoot has risen by 2 miles, and the temperature gauge did not rise off the C position.. Now that it has 1 years MOT do I (try) to sell it, or keep it.?. Yes I am
  5. Nice here today, 21c and a nice breeze blowing. I have put the scoot back together, tyres inflated, battery charged, all ready for the MOT tomorrow.
  6. I like it here, there is plenty of entertainment.
  7. Na, this time, I am here till this place goes tits up......
  8. Got my eye on a Lexmoto LXR
  9. Anyone donating one? Been there. Done that.
  10. Definitely and with photos too..
  11. It's the scoots MOT on Wednesday, testing station is only 1 mile away, it will be my longest ride in the past couple of months!. Not that hot here, car gauge says 26c.
  12. It sure does warm up quickly Not going in the shed to work on the scoot, it's like a oven in there. So, off to the pub at 1pm with the outlaws.(Mrs. Bucket )
  13. Doubt they would look that good on Marcel.
  14. I only have 2 bins, blue (recycling) and a green one (Household waste) Council guys came round last year with Black bins (Glass waste)....I told them not to leave us one, guy asked why not?..... I said it seems overkill for 1 jam jar and 1 vinegar bottle once a month...
  15. I would have bought a Daelim relay if there was a dealer in the UK. I did contact Daelim Support, who have been helpful in the past, but they want the part number to supply a new relay, no way of finding out the part number though.
  16. Yeh me too. Even though I ain't got a clue as to what your on about
  17. Iam OK with mechanical things, but electrics, no. With mechanical stuff you can see what's broke/snapped/worn out, but most electrical components unless they are burnt out look fine, that where a meter and Fred's knowledge comes into it own. I do appreciate the help. Yeh, I miss his When things got technical
  18. How long do you get for saying .... Darkies?
  19. Roughly wired it up, stood back...pressed the seat button!....and it worked! Will get some spade connectors tomorrow and make up a lead to connect the mismatched plugs. Cheers Fred.......have a virtual pint for your troubles.
  20. That seems logical, looks quite straightforward in your diagram
  21. Thanks.....I will give a try after I have had some food.....let you know how I get on then
  22. Our bathroom set was that colour could have been worse....it could have been in Avocado.
