  1. Doubt they would look that good on Marcel.
  2. I only have 2 bins, blue (recycling) and a green one (Household waste) Council guys came round last year with Black bins (Glass waste)....I told them not to leave us one, guy asked why not?..... I said it seems overkill for 1 jam jar and 1 vinegar bottle once a month...
  3. I would have bought a Daelim relay if there was a dealer in the UK. I did contact Daelim Support, who have been helpful in the past, but they want the part number to supply a new relay, no way of finding out the part number though.
  4. Yeh me too. Even though I ain't got a clue as to what your on about
  5. Iam OK with mechanical things, but electrics, no. With mechanical stuff you can see what's broke/snapped/worn out, but most electrical components unless they are burnt out look fine, that where a meter and Fred's knowledge comes into it own. I do appreciate the help. Yeh, I miss his When things got technical
  6. How long do you get for saying .... Darkies?
  7. Roughly wired it up, stood back...pressed the seat button!....and it worked! Will get some spade connectors tomorrow and make up a lead to connect the mismatched plugs. Cheers Fred.......have a virtual pint for your troubles.
  8. That seems logical, looks quite straightforward in your diagram
  9. Thanks.....I will give a try after I have had some food.....let you know how I get on then
  10. Our bathroom set was that colour could have been worse....it could have been in Avocado.
  11. I did swap one of the relays, and yes the solenoid works, but it does not say on any of the relays as to what they are rated at. .... 1 is for the for the seat...another for the FI, the others are lights, starter and cooling fan and hazard lights.... apart from the starter relay they all look identical. These are the wire colours to the solenoid.
  12. I would have to remove the seat tub, because the solenoid is hiding under there, let you know later. Thanks for the help. Now where is that fire extinguisher
  13. Yep., but as soon as I connected either of the other wires the fuse blew.
  14. Hope it leaves you time for your wanking.
  15. Tell you later, have to strip off the bodywork to get to the relays.... but don't you go to any bother.
  16. The relay is for the seat release, for a Daelim S3 250cc....I expect the 125cc version is the same, identical scoot, but a 125cc. On the factory fitted one there is no identification numbers, or anything saying what rating it is.
  17. There is on the replacement one i bought, the factory fitted one is smaller, and the connector block is different, and it has no numbers on the plastic body to indicate which connector does what.
  18. Not got such a thing, I used my power testing lead, but I get 2 cables with 12v, as soon as connect one of the other (non power) leads the fuse blows, connect the other lead, fuse blows. Getting to the emergency seat release cable is a pain.
  19. Going to give the relay one more try, how many permutations of the 4 wires can there be ? i got a packet of 10 fuses from Halfrauds. hope it's enough.
  20. Allegedly .....it was a nice sunny morning here.
  21. Hello & Welcome....
