Iam going to have (try) and box in the shit show of pipes under the new boiler, it looks a right mess, wish they had relocated the boiler into the cupboard where the hot water tank was in the past.

Did my discs & pads just before Christmas, and now the Dacia sounds like a 1970,s bus pulling up (so my wife tells me ) Offside is silent, nearside squeals like hell, went back to them and put copperslip on the backs, still squeals. Will have another look when the weather warms up.

The new boiler is installed, and a piss poor installation it is too. The radiators are hot, but not has hot as they were with the old boiler, same with the hot water from the taps.......... Thermostat has been set at 20c for 2 hours, and it has not shut off yet. We still have to sit under a blanket Will have a look online tomorrow, see if the water temp can be raised.

Yes it can, and does for many, it can also be accelerated by lifes situations, lack of communication (which I am now guilty of) and poor finances, diverging interests also can and do lead to a decline in romance, which leaves old married couples "Stuck in a rut"...

The phone call we received from the housing association said "The gas fitters will be with you at 8am, sorry for a early start, but the guys have a very busy day ahead of them" It is now 9.40am, and no show. Cuddling?...I don't think so. Here my wife, just before woke up fully..........and then told me to fuck off onto my own side of the of the bed.

They are coming tomorrow to fit a new boiler.

We are getting use to the smell

National Grid arrived, fitted a new meter, so now we can cook a meal.

Hopefully we have got somewhere this morning, National Grid says they will be out sometime today to fit a new meter, Scotish Power & Cadent never got back to us. Boiler engineer has just been, needs a new boiler fitting, got a date for that, 2 weeks today At least we can look forward to having cooked meals later today.

Our local MP ...he hasn't even got a office in town!.... he seems to only work with emails..... and he is a useless tosser at the best of times...

We could cook a midday meal at our daughters house while they are at work, and the kids are in school, wife may struggle with their electric cooker though. Wife's sis lives 45 km away, so we would not bother with a trip over there, wife does text/phone her sis, but her sis is not very concerned with the situation here, they are wrapped up in their own world at the moment, preparing for their 3 weeks in Tenerife which is coming up soon..........Bastards!.

Without heating or a cooker, Cadent guy turned off the gas at the meter, so we have no gas in the bungalow. Wife has kicked up a fuss, she has been on the phone for just over 6 hours today, but both companies just go So we have got nowhere today.

Our problem is neither of them say it is their responsibility........we are at a impasse

Our MP (Steve Yemm) is one useless tosser...see quite often on his FB page people saying "I emailed you several weeks ago, no reply" We need something doing in the next couple of days (at the most) as living like this is fucking miserable.

Excuse my moaning. It's getting beyond a joke now, Cadent came this morning, did the checks, Meter is buggered, they told us that it was Scotish Powers responsibility to provide and install a new meter. Scotish Power has just rung and says its Cadents job to supply and fit a new meter, we are getting absolutely fucking nowhere, Day 4, and looks like another (if we are lucky) 5 to 7 days before anything is resolved.........

We will go to our daughters home, cook our food there hope wife knows how to use their electric cooker..
