It's not the best race track..it is basically a triangular track, good for spectators though. And entrance fee is reasonable.

I have been many times in the past......it use to be a regular occurance for BSB teams to turn up and use the races as development work on the bikes.......as said, seen some big names turn up there.

It is Ride To The Wall this Sunday.........and Stars of Darley (Darley Moor race track near Ashbourne) is on Sunday too, some well known names racing....and a good weather forecast too. Me this Sunday...... visiting the outlaws.

Iam a bit of a hoarder, still got a helmet that I bought in 1995 ( I don't use it) and some jackets and textile trousers that no longer fit me.

Not worn that jacket for years....too fat for it.

My gear goes in the ex airing cupboard....central heating pipes run through it so it dries my gear, not that I go out in the rain if possible.

But some good news!.....my mineworkers pension has gone up £1..75p per week.....

Not all...i wish I was working sometimes........i definitely do not miss the getting up at 2.30am though. Normal day here...

Wife would never agree to that. Even if I had a passport.

We have a airport quite close to us.....dont need signs or a sat nav to get there.

Would like to be well-travelled, but the opportunities never arose.

Lack of having a current passport.......wifey had a quick look at prices on the islands.......then fainted.

It has been a few years since we used air travel, would have to renew our passports, and I don't think it is really worth it. Looks like Jersey or Guernsey is the furthest we could fly, but I hear its damn expensive there, so that rules that out.
