In one way iam glad that is all it failed on, I was expecting a failure list like a till roll from a weeks shopping.

It could be easily repaired (garages words) but the cost was too high.

When my daughters spring broke it went well down on one side, and the other side was visibly lower. Anyway it's failed on that so has to be fixed. Just wish they could fix it sooner, can't do the shopping, wife got her hospital appointment, and knowing we are stuck in the bungalow for 10 days is doing mine and her head in.

True about the lights .......but they are not very bright in the dark of winter. I went down to Harwich in it the other week and it was riding as normal.....and sitting level.

It failed on none of the things that expected, even the small hole in the sill was not a failure point. It failed on (the words on the failure form).......coil springs modified leaving the suspension inoperative ( both springs) ) Modified!!!! They are exactly as they have always been, me modify them!!!!! I only have the tools to do a wheel change...........oh and nearside headlight beam too low. They cannot do the repairs till the end of next week.

Took car in for its MOT failure Now I have to repair the gates, someone tried to get through them last night, they were not well equipped or they would have got in.

This 20c and drizzle is shit, but rather have this than what your suffering with.....

Iam staying in as it's only 16c and pissing it down. Weekend forecast, the same weather.

I expect I will have to get it welded, should not be too big a job.

Looked at the car for MOT on Monday ..........discs look a bit doubtful for a pass, but I can replace them myself.........but got a hole in 1 sill, only the size of a 1p peice, so i expect a fail on that too, as to the underside of the car I cannot get underneath to see the condition of the parts. If its going to cost ££££££,s I will have to raid our funeral fund.

Very good. from the news it sounds quite warm in your part of the Med, Majorca seems to be on the warm side today. 2 weeks of shit weather to come, with just average or below temps for us.
