Superb Fred , that looks like a proper day out This is the lane where I first met Pug/Ogri/Steve many years ago . I was riding with Paul Mules when we came across them riding the other way , while Paul and Steve were chatting I took the opportunity to sort out my leg and then he realised who I was from Maximumbikes and Dualsport.

Good point but then I'd have to sell either the Yamaha WR or the Ducati so in that case it would probably be the Ducati that would go. I absolutely love the DR650 but I'm on tippy toes when I come to a halt and sometimes I struggle to hold it up in those situations . If the CF450 has a lower seat height then it's worth considering.

Possibly , it depends on whether I can bear to part with the DR650 and how tall it is .

If I had to guess from that video I'd say that the 'bashplate' (which looks home made) is resonating from the vibes of the bike . If I was interested I ask him to take it off and then listen to it, big singles are nearly always noisy compared to other engines.

I have the most exciting weekend. Today I'm doing feckall , Saturday we will be walking the neighbours dogs and Sunday I have to get up at stupid o'clock to take my son and mother-in-law to church. After that it gets slightly better as we will be stuffing our faces on Sunday afternoon (big easter nosh) and Monday I'll probably go into work.
