  1. Yes, well if it's like him it'll probably be stylish but f*ucking useless
  2. I don't think I've even ridden a bike in February where the weather has been so shit. I might get a chance on the way to work tomorrow but it's not going to be much of a photo. I'll see if I can find a skip to park by
  3. Wales does have a certain amount of independence but I'm not going to try and explain about Great Britain or the United Kingdom or we could be here until next year . I've tried to explain to my wife's relatives in Italy and they didn't have a clue what was going on , even us who live here can't work it out half the time
  4. You're not allowed back anyway. Part of the brexit deal stipulates no 'Welsh/Dago gingers with dodgy groins '
  5. Jesus, that's pretty impressive
  6. Was that fully comp or tpft ? My mother in law's car is due , me and my wife are named drivers on it as well and they want over £100 more. I've looked around and all the quotes are about the same.
  7. How much did you pay last year @Clive , all insurance has shot up.
  8. Having a cup of tea and a biscuit with the cat
  9. Not mine @Clive ,I've got a while to go yet. I'm still trying to work out if it was Fred's birthday or not
  10. As far as riding is concerned I'm only looking forward to Monday when I can (possibly) ride to work, the actual weekend looks shite. Tomorrow Paolo and I will walk the neighbours dogs and then I'll sit down to watch the rugby with a beer or two.
  11. Now this is definitely 'different' . Got to love a bit of Lizzo
  12. I though you might have read it on the net, you seem to know everything else that's going on in UK
  13. Is it Fred's birthday as well , why didn't admin tell us ?

  16. I don't think you'll encounter any mud as it's nearly all rock base, there may be puddles if it has been raining. We did La Brigue to Limone and then down the Colle de Tenda . I'm not at all annoyed that they charge to ride it now (they do the same for the Sommellier now) as it pays for the upkeep of the road and allows it to remain open. My mistake with the distance , it was about 23 miles NOT kms.
  17. Most of the Via del Sale is pretty straightforward to ride but there are a few rocky areas that you have to be confident to ride. I'm sure @Sir Fallsalot can confirm ? We had a Austrian guy on a GS1200 join us to ride along it's length (about 23kms) and he did drop his bike on one of the rock gardens and trash his Touratech lights (not that he seemed to care). You also have to pay to ride it now and there may be restrictions on what days you can ride - https://www.altaviadelsale.com/eng/itineraries In no way am I trying to put you off riding it as it a spectacular route and one that I want to go back to before I hang up my riding boots .
  18. OMG !! I haven't heard that for years
