  9. So today was the day to get the little Yamaha out on the lanes so I planned a route for me and my mate Gaz (who lives in Redditch) to meet near Cirencester and do a loop of about 80 miles . The then anti was upped as Big Tone decided to join us on his brand new Gas Gas 700ES. I set off about 08.30 and made my way up to Badminton via the A46 and then some back roads.............. We were meeting at the AV8 cafe at Kemble airfield, it was definitely open this time as @Sir Fallsalot wasn't coming ............ and after a coffee and a sausage baguette we were off. We rode down the Fosseway and Gaz braved the ford while we watched .......... and on we went down as far south as Castle Coombe race circuit where we than turned east but with a stop for coffee from our flasks ........... Once we got to Startley we stopped pay our respects at the RAF memorial .............. Onwards through more lanes coverd in shit and puddles until we got to Fairford. We stopped in athe fuel station there for a lunch a la @Earache (where the hell is he ?) ............ After lunch we went North but Gaz got a puncture on the first lane of the afternoon................... Once it was sorted we carried on but spent most of the afternoon dodging showers . There were still some nice lanes though despite the soggy conditions.............. Once we got to the A429 Gaz headed off north to get back home while me and Tone dodged showers going south. The little Yamaha peformed faultlessly, I'm very happy with it. I just need to see if there is any adjustment on the rear shock but everything else was fine
  10. Does Lancashire have a monopoly on arthritis then ............
  11. Blimey, that takes me back . I used to deliver to the museum about 40 years ago . I also delivered to the contactors building the A4232 link road from the motorway near the museum before it was open, I drove up that road before it was open with no barriers etc
  12. When the house next to us used to be rented out the renters were ringing cars in the garage. I used watch them changing plates on cars from my sons bedroom cos the dozy scroats were doing it at night with the lights on in the garage
  13. Did you here that @Buckster ?
  14. The dealer selling the CRF couldn't get it to run correctly so after waiting for three weeks I told them to keep it. The Yamaha wasn't really on my radar as they're quite a rare bike here but once I saw it I thought I'd take the plunge.
  15. I'm off for a trail ride tomorrow on the little Yamaha. Looks like there could be some puddle dodging involved ............
  16. It's just a Welsh thing , they're only happy when they're dissing the English.
  17. Well I'm pretty certain that the peeps that voted for Brexit didn't know they'd have to exist under those rules now because the vast majority didn't listen to the argument properly. They were blinded by the bollocks spouted about immigrants and how much more money we'd have to build hospitals, infrastructure etc
