  1. Here’s a tip for you. Fix your bike and go out and ride it. That will give you something else to do instead of posting bullshit on here …..
  2. @Clive will be able to afford a breakfast when he goes to ASDA now
  3. Good news on the state pension @Clive, @XTreme . Perhaps he's going after the pensioner vote
  4. I can’t like that Rich but sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. Good luck with the job hunting now

  14. Boom !! that was exactly my experience when riding against my mates on their CB750K and GS550E Plus they didn't like tasting my Bel-Ray 2t smoke
  15. Hmmmmmmmm, we'll have to agree to disagree on that then . I don't remember any four stroke in that range keeping up with my 350LC off the lights and as I said before the skinny forks were pretty good at getting you into a tank slapper , hence why so many peeps fitted a fork brace . Mind you, I can remember when I took it for a MOT once the tester tightened up my steering head for me, that may not have helped the situation Anyway, that was my experience .
  16. However, I would take issue with the 'precise steering' cos from what I remember (again) those skinny forks gave me may a front-end wobble
  17. It certainly was a shock to the opposition as I remember it. Dudes with the latest 650/750 four strokes were blown into the weeds .
  18. Hmmmmmmmmmm, can you imagine how you'd fare with @Buckster on the other end of the phone ???
  19. Oh indeed, I'd go mad if I had nothing to do. Inbetween jobs I did volunteer work, I need something to keep everything moving.
  20. I can honestly say that I'm enjoying my retirement ........
  21. I never said I wanted it, I just don't want it to shut down . Where the f8ck else can you go that's like here ..............
  22. It's a do it all unit Fred. Finds the trails with OS maps, roads with city navigator , fuel stations, hotels, campsites , cafes and points of interest. It takes me around Europe , including trails and I get my text/whatsapp messages come up on the screen as it's bluetoothed to my phone. It's not affected by glare as it's backlit and has some clever technology in the screen. It's a fairly expensive outlay in the beginning but will probably last over 10 years if my previous model is anything to go by
  23. Very nice Pete, what it is to be a man with a man's bike eh !
