I moved this to Motorcycle Workshop Fred With this shite fuel now , I reckon you'll definitely have to start it more often or put some of that fuel stabiliser in the tank if you're leaving it for a while ?

No, it has to go through their workshop first and they're quite busy. The salesman told me about 10 days so hopefully it will be the middle of next week. I'm not in any hurry though as my back is still dodgy.

It's both, I've been going there for over 30 years so luckily I'm in the system. It still cost me £70.70 today though, not sure how much it would have been if it was private.

I hadn't thought of that but my experience in the past has tought me that when you see those guys it usually gets worse before it gets better. I'll stick with the Ibuprofen for now and hope it gets better before next Friday .

My mate used to have one with a bent frame (from a crash) , it still rode ok. He abandoned it once near Caldicot when it cut out and wouldn’t start. We went back three months later , fired some easy start down the bell mouths and it started second go . He carried on riding it for another two years with minimal maintenance and it kept on going

I totally agree I saw one of those new one in the showroom, it looks even worse up close

Dentist in an hours time, I don't particulary hate the dentist but she's not very good at her job. Let's see if she can get my crown to stay put for more than two weeks this time Hoping to go for a walk with Paolo tomorrow if my back allows , still walking a bit like Mr Crab at the moment . Haven't ridden a bike for two weeks now, I'll see if I can get my leg over on Monday all being well as I'm supposed to be riding to Cumbria next Friday .

Yesterday with my son we watched 'Les Troyens' (the Trojans) , an opera by Berlioz. I'm not saying it was shit but even he said 'this goes on a bit' !! So if you want to watch an opera don't choose that one

My wife is a diamond but any time something fails or goes wrong she always says the same thing. It was working perfectly five minutes ago so why doesn't it work now ? I have given up trying to explain now , I just shrug my shoulders and move on ............
