My weekend also begins tomorrow. I'll be meeting two mates up the Fosseway and then we'll be heading for Salisbury Plain. It's about 687 miles but it'll be a doddle on the Donkey Camp somewhere near Basingstoke tomorrow night then we're heading for Surrey to meet up with about 20 others including a member of this parish.

Nice one Chris (apart from your pulled muscle). I have to say that I'm one of the ignorant ones as I didn't know the treaty was signed near Compiegne. Now I'm truly gutted as I stayed in Compiegne a couple of years ago , in fact the night before I popped in to see you at work . I'm even more gutted as I rode through the forest early in the morning when there wouldn't have been a lot of peeps around .

No, I need an automatic. Ours in work has 66,000 on it now and no problems whatsoever but it's getting to the stage where you start to worry about the wet belt. I'm looking for a van but it has to be auto, Transporter's are crazy prices and Sprinters are just as bad, Transit's are a decent price but there's always the worry about the belt .

@Six30 , how many miles on your Transit now ?
