I'm not sure , peeps keep old bikes (with expired MOT) in their garages but they're still insured ?

But I used to ride my old Transalp everywhere , it was even marketed as a 'go anywhere' travel bike originally. I think a lot of peeps will be expecting to do the same with this bike .

I've ridden in the Bardenas Reales desert in 40c heat, it wasn't very pleasant. Nowadays I hide if the themometer goes over 25C

It's hard for us in Europe to imagine the distance's you cover , I'm not sure I could hack riding that far but I suppose it's a case of what you're used to doing. Anyway, cool photos @Earache, great to see pics from your part of the world.
