  1. I love driving that Transit but running the cam belt in oil is a pretty dumb idea, anyway Ford service dude said there was nothing in the oil (yet).
  2. You need to confer with Sean about your decision
  3. Yes, our boss was warned about it by the service guys in our local Ford dealer, they've had a run of failures on the Transits
  4. Errrrrrrrr no, it's T700 BOL
  5. It ran gay as well, terrible fuelling, snatchy and then bang off it goes.
  6. It definitely works, it was running earlier. It's being serviced here then it's going to Watsonian to have a sidecar fitted to it. The owner is going to use it in this years Mille Miglia in Italy.
  7. Exactly what I did for my T700 , the plate is now on my DR650 .............
  8. Why did you have to hand over a reg, have you got a private number for it ?
  9. It’s becoming like rare bike city in work at the moment. We have this in for a service now ….
  10. Wiltshire CC won’t except reports from that site Fred , I’ll report it to their highways department
  11. As far as I know Redcliffe is fine
  12. You could do a lot worse than another KTM 640, still a cracking bike .
  13. More power , wheel sizes are odd and it’s still feckin ugly. I’d like to try one but if you get on one I reckon your knees will be up around your ears.
  14. Bull rushes to you ................. Time to stop for a coffee from the trusty flask ............. After the coffee stop I rode some lanes south of Trowbridge, caution was taken here as that bridge is probably slippery when wet ............. I started to head for home now, so a mixture of lanes and roads took me through Semington , Melksham and Bradford-on-Avon until I got to one of my favourite lanes called Pipehouse .............. and one more lane on the outskirts of Bath, taking care through the travellers camp at the bottom of the lane ...................
  15. This lane is called Heddington Steps, it used to be quite a challange many years ago with a chalk surface and steps up it as you climbed the hill. It has been resurfaced now and they have totally sanitised it ......... I stopped on the top of Roundway Hill and the sun was just starting to brake through the clouds, it had been a drizzle fest up to this point .............. Rode some lanes around the back of Devizes ........... and then down one of my favourite holloways down to Potterne ................... Did some more lanes south of Devizes and then headed to Caen Hill locks to see what they look like nowadays.............
  16. I had a free day today and the weather forecast looked good so time to get out for a ride. Quick fuel up and grab some sandwiches in the petrol station at Wick and off to the first lane. Star lane was still a bit mucky , probably a sign of how things might be today........... Did a couple more lanes and then turned off the A420 at the Crown pub ............. This byway used to go straight on at this point but then somebody plonked a major bypass right across it At the end of the lane I came across this, f*cking boils my piss when the lazy bastards do this .............. Down across the A350 and stopped to take a photo of Lacock Abbey ...............
  17. Great scenery again Saul . I could quite happily take a room in that pub, get a pint and just stare out to sea
  18. It’s a beautiful day out here now the drizzle has gone
  19. Years ago I went across a side road near there (it may have come out near the New Inn) as the main road to Llandysul was blocked. I was in a 18t rigid lorry and it started snowing, it was a pretty hairy journey with lots of car drivers shouting at me
  20. Whenever I've needed a wheelchair (after an operation) the NHS have loaned me one. They have done the job fine but as others have said they are pretty heavy .
  21. I can't take the credit, @Six30 owns those crayons.
