Oh come on !!! I've been past that reservoir hundreds of times and it never looks as blue as that. You've overdone the crayons this time, I suggest you use more grey ..........

Ive got a last minute pass as Paolo has a bad cough so no walk tomorrow. Just planned a route across Salisbury Plain, it may be a touch chilly though so I'll need to dress accordingly

That's easy to get directions, you just say 'where Tom Jones comes from' -
I had heated seats in my Honda , they were also air-conditioned for the summer. I miss that car sometimes
-
Same here mate, and then I was crying with the pain in a corner when no one was looking
-
Once you've got heated grips you'll think to yourself how did I ride all those years in winter without them. I know me and @Sir Fallsalot used to suffer back in the day

Oxford heated grips are very good. You want the intelligent ones though as they switch themselves off so no worry about finding a switched-live on the bike, you can just wire them direct to the battery. They also come in different lengths of grip (adventure, sports etc) , so best to measure the length of your grips allowing for bar ends etc These are good as they have more heat increments that the standard ones and the connectors are waterproof (standard ones are not waterproof) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oxford-2017-HOTGRIPS-Advanced-SPORTS/dp/B01N8WYMKT/ref=sr_1_3?crid=R7KV7NUPUDSY&keywords=oxford+heated+grips&qid=1670003289&quartzVehicle=78-11276&replacementKeywords=heated+grips&sprefix=oxford+heated+grips+%2Caps%2C91&sr=8-3

Here ya go.............. @Sir Fallsalot lives in the bottom left hand corner, I'll bet even he doesn't know how to pronounce it properly -

You have the correct attitude, blokes like that do the rest of us no favours at all. I imagine you didn't tell Mr Slowly , if it had been me I'd definitely have chinned him.

Yes, it updated last week. I've gone over this several times over the last year and even had an email conversation with the Garmin tech department, they admitted that the Montana works better with android phones. -
What would go wrong is you'd eventually get into a tank slapper and end up eating the sand with the GS up your arse

I updated my Montana (just two small updates) but no real joy, for whatever reason my phone just doesn't like it . I'll just continue to navigate with the Montana as a stand alone device, it does a pretty good job for my type of riding. -
Fair play to you @Pedro , I'm not scared of riding sand but I'd be clenching my teeth if I were riding your big GS in stuff like that. You da man
