  1. I'd already had my fingers down his throat
  2. Yes, he collapsed off the bench seat in the morning
  3. There may have been some drinking as well ............ Although some may have taken it a bit too far
  4. Went to Wales on the weekend, camped , drunk lots of beer, did some ace trail-riding . No sheep were bothered either ...........
  5. I'm back home now, I reckon I was probably three sheets to wind last night as I had to celebrate my birthday even though I'd forgotten about it. I must have got out of the tent at least four times to have a piss last night and it was feckin cold. Just had a great dinner cooked by my lovely wife. I'm going to stand for the two minutes silence at 20.00 hrs if for no other reason than to piss off @XTreme
  6. You’re not wrong
  7. Nice one Pete, a fair bit dryer than some of the shit we found in Brechfa today
  8. We’re at the Ancient Briton
  9. I think you need to get over it Pete but I suspect you’ll still be ranting about it in 10 years time
  10. Camping, drinking, eating, riding , farting. Not necessarily in that order
  11. That was the point I was trying to make @Pedro Most people here would use a tyre shop rather than go to a motorcycle dealer. Motorcycle shops here are generally not interested in fitting tyres. I fit my own but in the past when I have used a tyre shop I generally take the wheel off myself and then let them fit the tyre/tube.
  12. So when you need new tyres you take your bike to a Motorcycle dealer/repair shop ?
  13. Cheer, you miserable fecker Fred
  14. I'm glad you confessed first , I did as well. They were ridiculously easy to nick
  15. Yeah, we were only 19 at the time. We didn't even measure anything before trying it , but like you say you're better off tuning the Mini engine .
  16. Years ago we tried to fit the 1800 from a Land Crab into a Mini, it didn't go too well
  17. What @Pedro and @yen_powell said about temperatures Modern tubes have a lot of butyl , much more than the natural rubber tubes we used to use years ago. How old are your tubes , are they the o/e tubes that came with the bike or has a previous owner replaced them with cheap shite ? As @Buckster said, buy the best tubes you can. I nearly always try to use Michelin tubes (personal choice) as they work well for me .
  18. Pissing down here today, it's definitely going to get colder this weekend as I'm going camping on the bike
  19. Nice one Pedro, I hope you deal with your emotions ok . It could be a roller coaster ride one way or another . I'm looking forward to some photos of the mighty GS in exotic locations already
  20. I presume for maintenance, the M4 (Prince of Wales) bridge was open but that would have made it a longer journey and shitty roads.
