No dizzyness associated with it Marcel

I've always prided myself on my balance ever since I lost my leg, it has enabled me to walk fairly well and be able to ride a bike in a decent fashion especially when you need it for off-road riding. On my recent trip to France I fell off four times, the first was definitely a case of my ambition outweighing my skill but the other three manouvers (tight hairpins on loose surface) I was dissapointed with as I'm sure that they wouldn't have given me a problem in the past. Added to this I find myself momentarely losing balance sometimes when walking and I actually fell over in the garage the other day while manouvering the Honda 250. Too add to this without getting technical about it my prosthetic leg doesn't work as good in heat. I have been doing a bit of thinking about this to try and see what the cause might be, is it just an age thing , a lack of concentration at critical times or are their mechanical reasons for it. My right knee and hip are not the best as they have been taking most of the strain for 21 years now. Any thoughts apart from the usual piss-taking ?

Blatant play for BOTM here...................parked next to the trash cart. It's a real winner as it's been done before

Nice one Pete, seems like your bike dramas are over. Honda, you know it makes sense

That's a brave choice and not just because it's a Harley. I fell that anyone buying an electric vehicle at the moment is just a guinea pig, the manufacturers and the government are not telling whole truths.

imo it's definitely a frog, toads don't have the lovely patterns that the frogs do. We used to have Toads as well but I haven't seen any for quite some years now .- 852 replies

Mine worked well through France as well, as did my previous Montana 650. As a motorcycle GPS they're pretty dammend good. I hear all the arguments about phones, they're great until it rains, or it's too hot, or the vibration kills them, or you can't see the screen in bright sun etc etc. as you've pointed out already.

I wouldn't, I can't reach that high

That number plate is just slightly wrong, the DBM's would have loved it had it been WKG as I'm sure they're partial to a bit of wanking

Where are you off to Fred ?

Yep, I switch it to Wales when it asks for 'State/Province' and it accepts Wales ............ Then as soon as you put the postcode in you get this................. I've spoken to Garmin about it and they almost admitted that there's a bug in the system Go back to a search in England (Birmingham in this case) and it's no problem at all I also had no problem finding hotels etc in France from a post code search .
-
My Garmin is prejudice, it will find post codes in England, France, Belgium with no problem but it will not find anything in Wales
